Timeform View

LUREKA DU NOYER didn't need to better the form he'd shown in defeat in France to make a winning start for Henry de Bromhead at Limerick in May and he's fancied to follow up having been freshened up since. The Gordon Elliott-trained pair Ardeen Joy and Manoir de Mirande look the main threats, and they can chase home the selection in that order.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Lureka Du Noyer traded at a high of 2.38 and Betfair SP of 2.18 when winning last time, a race in which it led.

Timeform Comments

Lureka Du Noyer (FR)
Had shown better form in defeat over fences in France yet still had enough about him to justify support back hurdling starting out in Ireland after 6 months off in 18-runner maiden at Limerick (2m, soft) in May. Looks the one to beat back from an 8-week break.
Ardeen Joy (IRE)
Lightly-raced 5-y-o from leading yard. Travelled strongly/resumed progress with wide-margin win in 13-runner maiden at Bellewstown (2½m) earlier in the month. Every chance she can kick on now up and running.
Manoir De Mirande (FR)
Unreliable type who finally got off the mark in 11-runner maiden at Sligo (17f, good) 9 days ago, crucially seeing his race out better than previously and his jumping having been more fluent than is often the case. Hard to rule out.
Crystabel (IRE)
Took a step forward to make a successful handicap debut in tidy fashion in 7-runner event at Sligo (17f, good) 9 days ago, well positioned and the emphasis on speed clearly suiting. Another step forward needed in this company.
Eyeeye
Made more impact than previously dropped to claiming company when second of 10 at Sligo in June and shaped as if still in good heart back in handicap company when ninth of 16 at Roscommon (2m, good) earlier in the month. Stiff task in this.
Move It On Over (IRE)
Yet to make an impact in 8 starts over hurdles and faces another stiff task.
