Timeform View

POURQUOI POI has a decent record when partnered by Jack Kennedy and is taken to give the weight away and land a second career success. La Tene is a possible danger back hurdling with the John Patrick Ryan stable in form. Whiskey Serenade and Granlahan are others with the form to figure, while Yolanda's Star has the potential for better in handicaps.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Whiskey Serenade traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts: Strong Contender traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP twice and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 3 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Pourquoi Poi (IRE)
Off the mark in 2½m handicap hurdle at Punchestown under Jack Kennedy last season. Good third of 14 in handicap at Sligo (21f, good, 7/2) 9 days ago. Cheekpieces on first time. Considered with Kennedy in the saddle again.
Smackwater Jack (IRE)
Returned to form to win 13-runner handicap at Punchestown (3m) last month and backed it up with a creditable third of 14 at Kilbeggan (3m, good) 36 days ago. This veteran is respected in his current mood.
Fool Me Once (IRE)
Fourteenth of 15 in handicap hurdle (13/2) at Downpatrick (2¾m, good) 74 days ago, taking his record to 0-14.
Joshua Chamberlain (IRE)
Opened his account in a Tramore handicap hurdle in August 2023. Unsurprisingly needed his comeback after nearly 3 years off at Punchestown last time and now steps back up markedly in trip.
Rushford
No impact on the Flat since returning from a long absence and it remains to be seen whether a switch back to hurdling sparks a revival.
She'll Be Kept (IRE)
Maiden. Latest sixth of 18 in handicap hurdle at Limerick (23f, good, 50/1) was creditable but more will be needed if she's to get off the mark here.
Whiskey Serenade
33/1, first run since leaving Gavin Cromwell when very good second of 15 in handicap hurdle at Bellewstown (2½m, good) 17 days ago. Claims if she can back that up.
Yolanda's Star (IRE)
Showed more than first 2 starts when third of 12 in maiden hurdle at Kilbeggan (2m, good) 36 days ago. The significant step back up in trip should suit now handicapping. Open to further improvement.
Stumblin In (IRE)
9/2 and tongue strap on first time, below form tenth of 18 in handicap hurdle at Limerick (23f, good) 19 days ago, finding little. The tongue tie is left off now.
Strong Contender (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden. 40/1, seventh of 15 on handicap debut at Kilbeggan (3m, good) 36 days ago. More will be needed.
Granlahan (IRE)
Third in big fields on all 3 completed starts in handicap hurdles this season. Has to enter the reckoning with Darragh O'Keeffe doing the steering.
Jolly Potter (FR)
Well held in 2 juvenile hurdles in France in 2023 and has also offered little in 2 maidens for new yard in 2026. Handicap debutant.
Mollys Dolly (IRE)
Maiden who ran poorly at Limerick (23f, good, 25/1) 19 days ago. Others are more obvious.
La Tene (IRE)
Pulled up in handicap chase at Limerick (23f, good) in May but was running better when falling 2 out over hurdles at Kilbeggan prior to that. Third in Clonmel handicap off 2 lb higher in March and not dismissed with yard going well.
Lady Aquarelle (FR)
Well held in a trio of maidens earlier this year and hasn't made much impact in handicaps since. A first-time tongue tie needs to spark improvement.
Toor Moon (IRE)
Remains a maiden after 39 runs and was already tailed off when unseating rider just before 2 out over fences at Downpatrick (3m) 5 weeks ago. Passed over back over hurdles.
Leis Fein (IRE)
18/1, pulled up in handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse (2½m, heavy) when last seen in November. Best watched after 8 months off. RESERVE.
John Storey (IRE)
Unreliable individual who shaped quite well when fourth on his stable debut but has disappointed when pulled up twice since. Hard to know what to expect. RESERVE.
Ladiam (IRE)
Won at Sligo last summer. Fair fifth reappearance in May but failed to build on it when a remote fifth of 15 in handicap at this course (2¾m, good to soft, 8/1) 56 days ago. RESERVE.
