Timeform View

Hardly a strong bumper so BALLYBOLLEN, who makes a fair amount appeal on paper, is selected to make a successful start to his career. Tommy's Ticket shaped a bit better than the finishing position suggests on his debut at Kilbeggan last month and may do better with that initial experience under his belt. Ealu Tapa hails from a family his yard knows well and is another who may step forward from his opening effort.

Timeform Comments

Ballybollen
Nathaniel gelding. Closely related to a winner on Flat and half-brother to 2 winners, including bumper winner/fairly useful hurdler Mongibello. Plenty to like on paper and wouldn't need to be anything out of the ordinary to make an impact.
Colga Boys (IRE)
Feel Like Dancing gelding. Dam, twice-raced over hurdles, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler (stays 2½m) Petrol Head.
Ealu Tapa (IRE)
Getaway gelding. Dam (b76), ran twice in bumpers, sister to useful hurdler/very smart chaser (stayed 3m) Peregrine Run. Yard had success with this family and he shaped as if better for the run when ninth of 18 in bumper (11/2) at Punchestown (2m, good) on debut 45 days ago. May fare better.
Josh's Jury (IRE)
Jukebox Jury gelding. Dam (c99/h92), 2m hurdle winner (stayed 21f), half-sister to useful French hurdle winner around 2m Hipsters. Showed a bit amidst greenness when eighth of 16 in bumper at Navan (2m, good to soft) on debut. Off 10 months.
Long Story (IRE)
Showed a bit more than on debut when seventh (behind reopposing Tommy's Ticket) of 14 in bumper at Kilbeggan (2m, good, 80/1) 36 days ago.
Merci Vieil Ami (IRE)
Diamond Boy gelding. Half-brother to 3 winners, including French hurdler/chaser Le But. Failed to complete both starts in points, pulled up last time (Apr 26).
Millers Point (IRE)
€40,000 3-y-o, Ol' Man River gelding. Half-brother to multiple bumper winner/useful hurdler The Model Kingdom. Pulled up both starts in points in early-2025.
Moundofthehostages (IRE)
Tailed off in bumper/maiden hurdle.
Saviour Blu (IRE)
Well held completed start in maiden hurdles.
Srah (IRE)
Rajj gelding. Dam unraced out of half-sister to Champion Hurdle winner Flakey Dove. Market for clues.
Tommy's Ticket (IRE)
Jet Away gelding who shaped with some promise when sixth of 14 in bumper at Kilbeggan (2m, good, 9/1) on debut last month, looking likely to finish closer before fading final 100 yds. Hood quickly applied and may do better.
Hometomayo (IRE)
No encouragement either start under Rules and last of 4 finishes on most recent outing in points.
Pamelaisbrass (IRE)
Well held in a pair of bumpers.
