TEENAGE KISS couldn't have gone much closer to making a winning chasing debut here recently and having pulled well clear of the remainder that day, Conor O'Dwyer's 5-y-o gets the verdict to go one better. Nastya was fortunate to double her tally over fences at Limerick on return, but she could be the one to offer most resistance, while Astley could show more now handicapping so he rounds off the shortlist in a first-time tongue tie.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Nastya traded at more than 10 times Betfair SP twice when winning during its last 5 starts: Scalpnagoon traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 25% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Nastya (IRE)
Enhanced a good record when fresh when doubling her tally in 8-runner handicap chase at Limerick (25f, good) a couple of months ago, one losing his rider in front of her and another taking too long to get going from behind. 4 lb rise may leave her vulnerable.
Caesar Rock (IRE)
Going through a good spell, finishing second for a third successive start in 11-runner event at Killarney (3¼m, good to soft) in May. Freshened up since and should give his running once again.
Goody Four Shoes (IRE)
Built on previous promise to finally shed his maiden tag in 7-runner handicap chase at Down Royal (3¼m, good) in May, digging deep under pressure. Ran well when third of 15 in a much stronger race at Roscommon (25f, soft) just over 6 weeks ago but more needed again here.
Scalpnagoon (IRE)
Fairly useful over hurdles and has translated that level to chasing, placing for a fifth time when second of 6 at Kilbeggan (25f, good) 12 days ago, seeing things out a bit better than of late for all he was soon no match for the winner. Trip a possible issue in this larger field on handicap bow.
Astley (IRE)
Modest form at best over hurdles but positive start on both outings over fences in the spring. Well below that level at Down Royal when last seen in May but may show more now handicapping upped in trip. First-time tongue tie goes on.
Teenage Kiss (IRE)
Much improved stepped up to 3m when winning handicap hurdle here in May and couldn't have gone much closer to following up on chasing debut here (23f, good to soft) just over 3 weeks ago, worn down by a dour stayer and pulling well clear of the remainder. Fancied to go one better.
Dorans Law (IRE)
Mainly a chaser nowadays but has run over hurdles the last twice, most recently when seventh of 15 in handicap at Bellewstown (25f, good) earlier in the month. Tongue tie left off for his return to chasing and others look stronger.
Duty Bound
Successful twice in handicap hurdles this time last year and is also a previous winner here over fences. Fared better than of late without making himself of immediate interest when fifth of 12 at this course (23f, good to soft) just over 3 weeks ago and he's tough to recommend.
Ceroc (IRE)
Moody sort on a long losing run. Did run well when second over C&D in May but predictably failed to back it up returned to timber at Listowel (23f, good to soft) later that month. Potentially well handicapped on best form though hard to win with these days.
