LADIES WELL should prove hard to stop if in the same form as when winning at Killarney on Friday. Oogum Boogum, chase newcomer Embrace The Day and Anodandawink are also on the shortlist.

Timeform Comments

Embrace The Day (IRE)
On the up over hurdles and bagged 10-runner handicap at Listowel (23f) in May. Looks the sort to do better still as a chaser so a likely player.
Midnight Moonshine (IRE)
Kilbeggan maiden hurdle winner last summer but poor efforts so far this summer, not jumping well on his return to hurdling at Bellewstown earlier in the month.
North Of Nashville (IRE)
Hard to catch right but both of her wins have come over this C&D, including in May. Hit the wall in a matter of strides at Punchestown last month but wouldn't discount if over whatever ailed her there.
Shantou Show (IRE)
Winless since 2023 but produced one of his more encouraging recent efforts when third of 8 in handicap chase at Cartmel (25f, good to soft) 24 days ago. Far from certain to back that up, though.
Anodandawink (IRE)
Runner-up on completed start in points and produced his best effort over hurdles when third of 16 in handicap at Kilbeggan (25f) in April. Offered something to work on when second of 6 in novice chase at Downpatrick (3m, good to firm, 5/1) on debut over fences 39 days ago. Makes handicap chase bow.
Ladies Well (IRE)
Off the mark over hurdles at Ballinrobe last summer and was much improved on her second start over fences when winning 15-runner handicap chase (33/1) at Killarney (23f, good) 5 days ago. Will take plenty of beating under a penalty.
Mistyburn (IRE)
Landed 16-runner handicap hurdle at Kilbeggan in April, albeit looking a fortunate winner (left in front last). Failed to translate that form back over fences next time and was again a shade below his best reverted to hurdling at Roscommon 2 weeks ago.
Oogum Boogum (IRE)
Gained a deserved breakthrough win in 3m handicap hurdle at Punchestown in May. Placed all 3 starts since, including when sent back over fences from his significantly lower chase mark to finish third of 15 in handicap chase at Killarney (23f, good, 7/2) 5 days ago. Cheekpieces back on.
Derby Rock (IRE)
Modest hurdler made an inauspicious start in this sphere back in August and was an early faller back hurdling after 10 months off at Kilbeggan last month. Back chasing having left M. F. Morris.
Ardaghs Choice (IRE)
Temperamental sort on a lengthy losing run and he was pulled up at Down Royal when last seen in April.
Amburana (IRE)
Remains winless and only thirteenth of 18 in handicap hurdle at Limerick (2½m) 55 days ago. Chasing debutant.
Fr Gilligansvoyge
Veteran has found some uncharacteristic consistency of late, in the frame for 3 starts in a row before ending a losing run stretching back over 3 years in 12-runner race at Downpatrick (3m, good) last month. Backed that up with another good third of 13 here (19f, good) 19 days ago.
Barely Made It (IRE)
Placed in a point but yet to offer much under Rules.
Captain Kate (IRE)
Without a win over hurdles and didn't build on a more encouraging chasing debut in 2 subsequent starts in that sphere. Offered nothing back over the smaller obstacles after a 7-month break last time.
Eddies Pride (IRE)
Poor strike rate (latest win came in 2024) and well beaten again at Roscommon last month.
Tennesse Boy (IRE)
Runner-up in a Sligo handicap chase in October but well beaten at Thurles later that month. Pulled up in a point towards the end of May and it was a similar story back over hurdles at Limerick 3 weeks ago.
Secrecies Of Stone (IRE)
Dual winner in 2024/25, including over fences at Leopardstown, but lightly raced and little impact since. RESERVE.
Chasing Crowns (IRE)
Went with a bit of promise when fifth of 14 in a handicap hurdle at Kilbeggan on return but jumped none too fluently when pulled up at Roscommon since. Makes chase debut in first-time blinkers (pulled up all 4 starts in points). RESERVE.
