Timeform View

Not as competitive as the numbers suggest and this looks a good opportunity for PHILDANTE to capitalise on a reduced mark and gain a breakthrough success. Fire Coral looks much the biggest threat on the back of a good Limerick third, while Georgia Celena and Trixaboutmaisie appeal as the pick of the rest in the battle for minor honours.

Timeform Comments

Desert Cave (IRE)
Failed to revive for another change of yard at Limerick and Cork recently so can only be watched.
Moonlight Paradise (IRE)
Winning pointer but lightly-raced maiden under Rules. 11/1, pulled up in handicap hurdle at Limerick (2½m) 21 days ago. Cheekpieces go on for 1st time.
Georgia Celena (IRE)
Scored at Downpatrick (2¾m) 12 months ago and plenty of good efforts in defeat have followed. Still in touch when hampered and unseated rider 4 out in handicap hurdle at Kilbeggan (25f) 13 days ago. Considered.
Fire Coral
Dual winner (up to 3m) last August. Lightly raced since but good third of 18 in handicap hurdle at Limerick (23f) 21 days ago. That form has been franked so she's expected to be bang there off the same mark.
Nashville Notions (IRE)
Won a maiden hurdle at Sligo last summer but below that form since, twelfth of 15 in handicap hurdle at Clonmel (2¾m) 48 days ago. Cheekpieces go on now.
Keep The Head (IRE)
Offered little in bumpers and been a similar story in 4 starts in this sphere for Patrick Foley. Lots more needed on yard/handicap debut.
Chasing Crowns (IRE)
Still a maiden and pulled up in handicap hurdle at Roscommon (25f) 17 days ago. Blinkers on 1st time now. Engaged 5.20 Wexford Wednesday.
Trixaboutmaisie (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden. Off 9 months before a creditable seventh of 15 in handicap hurdle at Downpatrick (2¼m) 9 days ago. Significantly up in trip and can strip sharper here.
Urbs Intacta Manet (IRE)
Has shown little in maiden and handicaps hurdles to date, cheekpieces tried when eleventh of 18 in handicap hurdle at Punchestown (3m) last time.
Ballinaboola Gold (IRE)
Good second at Punchestown on return in May but twice below par since, seventh of 18 in handicap hurdle at Limerick (23f) 21 days ago. Cheekpieces are reached for now in her bid for a maiden victory.
Talas Kera (IRE)
Maiden hurdler. Faded run-in when fourth of 11 in novice hurdle here (3m) 20 days ago. More is required now going into handicaps.
Clever Court (IRE)
50/1 and vastly improved when gaining first success in 15-runner handicap hurdle at Bellewstown (2½m) 19 days ago. Needs to back it up now off a 6 lb higher mark.
Phildante (IRE)
Still a maiden but runner-up in a division of this off a 7 lb higher mark last year and has shaped as if back in good nick of late, third when fell 2 out in handicap hurdle at Limerick (23f) three weeks ago. Weighted to go close if none the worse.
Cruisin Susan (IRE)
C&D winner in August 2024 but on a losing sequence and came in a below-par eighth of 16 in handicap hurdle at Tramore (2¾m) in May. Needs to take a step forward.
Glaoinn An Airgead (IRE)
Remains a maiden after 17 runs and pulled up in handicap hurdle at Killarney (2½m) 7 days ago. RESERVE.
