Timeform View

Those with experience set only a fair standard so this could be prime for a newcomer. LORRAINE ticks plenty of boxes on paper hailing from the Gosden yard and shades the vote before market clues. Of those with experience, Art of Life promises to improve from her mid-field effort over shorter here 3 weeks ago, whilst Babzini filled the same spot in a Goodwood novice that has thrown up winners and can also do better on her first crack at this trip back from a break.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Art Of Life could be advantaged by a prominent position which looks likely in this field: Of the better-fancied horses, Lorraine is most likely to be ridden furthest from the pace.

Timeform Comments

Art Of Life
Palace Pier filly who proved easy to back and left the impression she'd learn from her debut sixth in a 13-runner novice over 6f here 3 weeks ago. Not knocked about then and she appeals as an improver.
Babzini (IRE)
Showed plenty of ability when third in a Salisbury novice (5f) in May and produced another fair effort despite not handling the track when sixth of 8 at Goodwood (5f) later that month. Given a break since and she remains open to improvement with this increase in trip rating a plus.
Blue Corn (IRE)
Foaled January 20. €86,000 yearling, Dark Angel filly. Dam, runner-up at 7f/1m, half-sister to useful winner up to 9f Emperor Claudius out of 1000 Guineas (2-y-o 7f winner) winner Virginia Waters. Represents top stable and market confidence behind her would need to be viewed positively.
Dark Reign (IRE)
Dark Angel filly who was always behind when last of 9 on debut at Kempton (7f) in June. Passed over here.
Lady Miranda
Perfect Power filly who fetched €85,000 as a yearling but looks one for later on judged on what she's achieved in a pair of Newmarket contests in recent weeks.
Lorraine
Foaled February 14. Frankel filly. Half-sister to useful 2-y-o 7f winner Publish. Dam, smart US 1m-9f winner (third in Grade 1 1¼m event), sister to smart 2-y-o 6f winner Arizona. Noteworthy newcomer representing top stable.
Moda Rosa
Foaled April 19. 5,000 gns foal, Mohaather filly. Dam, ran twice at 2 yrs, half-sister to 2-y-o 7f winner Measuring Time and 6f-11f winner Divine Unicorn (both smart). Yard 0-9 with their two-year-old debutants so far this season.
Ruby Sands
Foaled February 25. Sands of Mali filly. Sister to useful 2-y-o 6f/7f winner Ellaria Sand and half-sister to 2-y-o 5f winner Ba'hoa. Yard have yet to strike with a 2-y-o newcomer this season but another worth a precautionary check in the betting for clues.
