Timeform View

ALWAYS PERFECT impressed with how she travelled when opening her account at Yarmouth 4 weeks ago and a 5 lb rise for that breakthrough victory may not be enough to prevent Charlie Fellowes' filly following up. Jimmy Knocker served warning he's ready to strike when second over C&D 2 weeks ago and is an obvious threat. Distant Rumble, Raffles Angel and Silver Wraith complete the dangers.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

In a race that lacks confirmed pace-forcers, Always Perfect could get the run of things: Of the better-fancied horses, Jimmy Knocker is most likely to be ridden furthest from the pace.

Timeform Comments

Waistcoat
Better than ever when getting his head back in front at Chelmsford (6f) in January. Disappointed at Kempton 10 days later but found himself less-than-ideally placed when tenth on return to action at Ascot (6f) in May. Absent again ahead of this.
Silver Wraith
Opened her account at Bath on final outing last season and made all over the same C&D on reappearance. Undone by a slow start at Sandown on penultimate start but she does need to dispel what was a lesser effort when fifth of 6 in handicap at Salisbury 23 days ago.
Raffles Angel
Successful from 1 lb higher mark at Haydock (6f) last summer and she showed benefit of her heavy ground reappearance when posting a good third at Nottingham (6f) 33 days ago. A repeat gives her sound claims of being involved once more.
Mumayaz (IRE)
Rejoined this yard from James Owen in March and ran out an easy winner at Leicester (6f) in May. Not disgraced more recently, albeit leaving the impression she's about right in the weights when fifth of 9 in handicap at Windsor (6f, firm) last month.
Distant Rumble
Resumed winning ways at Windsor (6f) in the spring and ran well on back of a 3 lb rise when third at Salisbury next time. Latest Newmarket run best excused (left poorly placed) and no surprise to see a better showing.
Jimmy Knocker (IRE)
Hasn't always been the most consistent but each of his last 2 performances have served warning his turn isn't far away, the return to sprinting suiting when runner up in a C&D handicap 2 weeks ago. Interesting.
Always Perfect (IRE)
Lightly-raced filly who has improved for the switch to handicaps, building on her Leicester third when opening her account in 5-runner handicap at Yarmouth (6f) 4 weeks ago. Travelled with plenty of purpose then and unlikely we've seen all she has to offer up 5 lb.
Eightthreeone
Much improved when taking 12-runner handicap at Southwell (6f) in April. Placed next 3 starts but was again first off the bridle and failed to land a blow when sixth of 7 in handicap at Windsor (5f) 4 weeks ago. Return to 6f may help now.
Phoenix Moon (IRE)
All 4 career victories have come on all-weather but plenty of good efforts to her name on turf and she had excuses on account of the heavy ground when down the field at Salisbury (6f) 44 days ago. Conditions look much more in her favour here.
Just Jump (IRE)
Quirky sort who refused to race in May but landed gamble at Windsor (5f) the following month. Done no favours when hampered by hanging winner when fifth over 5f here subsequently but he remains one to treat with caution given his antics at the start.
