Timeform View

SARANGPUR hasn't looked back since joining Richard Hughes and having been narrowly denied the hat-trick at Kempton earlier in the month, he's fancied to regain the winning thread at the expense of unexposed 4-y-o Nowshesdancing, who seemed suited by a step up to 1½m when third at Goodwood last month. The enigmatic Dancing Tiger can fill out third.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

In a race that lacks confirmed pace-forcers, Sarangpur could get the run of things.

Timeform Comments

Nowshesdancing
Made a winning start in Dundalk maiden in January for Mark Fahey. Good third at Wetherby on yard debut on return in April and proved her handicap bow wasn't a true reflection when third of 7 in handicap at Goodwood (1½m, good to firm) last month. Better still to come.
Into Battle (IRE)
Ended time with Ed Walker with a good win at Salisbury in October and built on earlier promise to justify support on his handicap hurdle debut in 4-runner event at Bangor (17f, good) just under 4 weeks ago, impressing with some fast jumps. Can continue his good work returned to the level.
Dancing Tiger (IRE)
Made a winning return at Doncaster in March and has taken his form up a level since without looking one for maximum faith, second of 9 at Goodwood (1½m, good to soft) just under 7 weeks ago (took time to knuckle down). Nudged up another 2 lb for that and may need more severe headgear.
Sarangpur (IRE)
Irish recruit who has run out the easy winner of 1½m handicaps at Brighton and Epsom since joining Richard Hughes. Unable to complete the hat-trick from 10 lb higher on all-weather debut when second of 7 at Kempton (11f) recently but can build on that further, especially if getting a lead.
Port George
Has one standout effort and showed nothing on handicap/all-weather debut at Southwell (1½m) when last seen 10 months ago. Can only be watched.
