Timeform View

A belated debut for expensive breeze-up purchase HULK POWER but he starts out in a very winnable maiden with Foxy Night setting just an ordinary standard. Burning Impact offered something to work on here last month and looks best of the others.

Timeform Comments

Baareq
160,000 gns yearling, Bated Breath gelding. Dam, 1¼m winner, half-sister to smart winner up to 8.5f Viadera. Interesting top owners have persevered but he didn't show much on belated debut at Windsor last month.
Moral Victory
Tailed off both starts.
Real Trouper (IRE)
Showed promise when third of 5 in a 1m novice at York last spring but well held after 14 months off at Newcastle 4 weeks ago.
Burning Impact
155,000 gns yearling, Too Darn Hot colt. Half-brother to 3 winners, including smart US 8.5f/9f winner Program Trading. Showed ability when fourth in novice here (1m) 5 weeks ago. Likely wants further than this in time but should improve all the same. Tongue strap on.
Gallant Pioneer (IRE)
1,500 gns foal, Ulysses gelding. Half-brother to 3 winners, including 6f-7f winner City Cyclone and winner up to 6f I Need Your Love. Remote fifth of 12 in Wolverhampton maiden last month.
Hulk Power (IRE)
100,000 gns yearling, €580,000 2-y-o, Night of Thunder colt. Half-brother to several winners, including winner up to 8.6f Via Serendipity and winner up to 1¼m Le Juge, both smart. Dam, German 7f/1m winner, half-sister to smart 5f performer Dietrich. Yard has good record with 3-y-o newcomers.
Inspectre (IRE)
€4,000 foal, Inns of Court gelding. Half-brother to winner up to 7f Yuan Prince. Dam, 7f winner, sister to smart 5f/6f winner Move In Time. Wears hood.
Rogue Federation (IRE)
Didn't show much in a couple of starts for James Owen and subsequently sold for 1,000gns early this month.
Thunder Rush
Well held in novices at Newcastle.
Foxy Night (IRE)
Night of Thunder filly who showed a similar level of form when hitting the frame all 3 starts. Sets the standard.
Lady Fizz
Well held in Newmarket maiden (for Des Donovan) and Kempton novice 3 months apart.
Thairish (IRE)
Territories filly. Closely related to useful winner up to 1m Lady Alara and half-sister to 3 winners, including smart winner up to 1½m Haunted Dream. Dam ran twice. In-form yard not renowned for winning with 3-y-o newcomers.
Walking On Stars (IRE)
Sea The Stars filly. Dam, useful German 11f winner (stayed 1½m), half-sister to useful 1½m winner Waugh. Well bred but looks one for longer term given her stable.
