YOU DONE WELL has shaped encouragingly on his last 2 starts and gets the vote to open his account. Laxxio and Magic Day are feared most if bouncing back to their best.

Timeform Comments

In The Trenches
In good form and finally got off the mark in 19f Downpatrick novice hurdle in June. Arrives on the back of an aborted return to chasing that saw him lose his action at Wexford 24 days ago and needs to improve to defy this mark over hurdles.
Magic Day (IRE)
Won 2½m mares handicap hurdle at Kilbeggan in April 2025. Hasn't been in same form since, including over fences, but yard is in good nick and claims if first-time cheekpieces spark a revival.
Laxxio
A 3-time Flat winner in Germany and ran his best race over hurdles when third in Bellewstown novice in April. Didn't quite match that form in similar event over same C&D 20 days ago buy may get back on track now reverting to handicap company for yard back among the winners of late.
Andys Flame
Fair winning hurdler and chaser at his best. Lightly raced in recent seasons, though, and has looked a shadow of his former self in handicap chases on both outings this season. Reverts to hurdling for the first time since August 2024.
In For The Night (IRE)
Dual winner during 2024/25 but finished well all 4 starts during last season and shaped as if needing the run on return for new connections last month. Well handicapped on old form and one to note if attracting market support.
Silly Mongoose (IRE)
Got off the mark at the expense of another quirky sort in a weak maiden at Kilbeggan in June. Ran poorly switched to a handicap at Limerick last time, though, having typically pulled too hard through the early stages.
You Done Well (IRE)
Winner at Limerick off 6 lb higher last May. In frame on last 4 outings, including both starts for current connections, 3¾ lengths third of 13 to He Who Dares at Wexford on latest. Seems sure to be involved again.
Mon Sheriffe
Maiden who stopped the slide when sixth of 12 at Bellewstown before possibly finding the quick turnaround against him when pulled up at Kilbeggan next time. Unseated early last time, but not without a chance if able to recapture his best form.
Tudorista (IRE)
Shaped with some encouragement on debut for current yard when 8¾ lengths fourth of 16 to Arctic Flame in 2½m handicap at Cork last time. Drop back in trip is a slight concern, however.
Marlpark (IRE)
Lightly raced and little impact since 2024/25. On a good mark but took a heavy fall at Ballinrobe on Tuesday and isn't one to rely on.
