Timeform View

LOVE LIKE THIS has just a solitary hurdling success to her name, but that came here just last month and having put up a respectable effort from her lower chase mark at Killarney last week, John Ryan's 8-y-o gets the tentative nod to double her tally at the expense of Luimneach, who looked to be ridden with an eye on the future on yard debut here in May. Big Island and chasing debutant Watty Show complete the shortlist.

Ixigreczed traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP 3 times on its last 5 starts: Doyen Magic traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 3 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Luimneach (IRE)
Hasn't scored since 2023 but was beaten only half a length into second at Down Royal (20.7f, heavy) in January and caught the eye when 13¼ lengths fifth of 11 to Warriors Wood here on debut for new yard in May. On a good mark if building on that.
Syracus Du Houx (FR)
Still a maiden and fared no better tried blinkered dropping back in trip when eighth of 12 in handicap hurdle at Bellewstown (17f, good to soft) in May. Back chasing and looks an easy swerve on balance. Headgear discarded.
Big Island (IRE)
On long losing run and possibly failed to stay after shaping as still in form for much of the way when ninth of 12 at Downpatrick (3m, good to firm) just under 6 weeks ago. Cheekpieces reapplied and better showing anticipated dropping back in trip.
Hurricane Honey (IRE)
Won on Downpatrick reappearance last July but hit and miss since, going backwards from reappearance by some margin at Bellewstown just under 3 weeks ago. Reverts to the larger obstacles and would be a danger to all if building on previous second in this sphere. Blinkers back on.
Doyen Magic (IRE)
Made a successful chasing debut over C&D last summer and capitalised on a lower hurdles mark when making all at Limerick in November. However, having faced competition for the lead she's run below form both starts over fences this season.
Island Mccoo (IRE)
Resumed from a break in good heart and back over an extended 3m when doubling career tally here last month, going on home turn. Failed to fire from 5 lb higher last time and attentions are reverted to the larger obstacles.
My Policy (IRE)
Placed 4 times in 2024/25 but could hardly have shown any less after 15 months off at Bellewstown earlier in the month. This just her second chase start and can only be watched at present.
Watty Show (IRE)
Maiden hurdler and a below-form eighth of 14 in handicap at Downpatrick (2¾m) just under 6 weeks ago. Makes chase debut here and yard couldn't be in better form. Worth keeping an eye on.
Ferdia (IRE)
On a long losing run and recent efforts don't suggest that will be changing anytime soon.
My Good Pal (IRE)
Modest winner over hurdles produced his best effort to date over fences with cheekpieces added when second of 11 in 3m handicap at Downpatrick in May. Added to patchy record last time, but on a handy mark if putting it all together. Cheekpieces discarded.
Ixigreczed (FR)
Has been operating below her best for a while now, not getting the clearest of runs turning in but unable to sustain her effort back over fences at Wexford 3 weeks ago.
Kilashee (IRE)
Scored over hurdles at Galway last summer but out of sorts since under both codes, pulled up on both starts this season.
Battle Of Benburb (IRE)
Fair handicap hurdler at one time but long-standing maiden in points and beaten a long way out on his first outing under Rules since leaving John McConnell at Cork back in April.
Love Like This (IRE)
Sole success came at this track over hurdles last month. Wasn't disgraced from her lower chase mark when third of 15 at Killarney (23f, good) last week and she could be up to adding to her tally for a yard amongst the winners.
My Cullen (IRE)
Still a maiden and no form for current connections. RESERVE.
Walkmethroughit (IRE)
Better than the beaten distance on handicap bow but seems to be going the wrong way, pulled up on both subsequent starts. Has since moved yards ahead of this chase debut/return. RESERVE.
Mercurial Sea (IRE)
Unreliable type but just about her best effort when second in novice hurdle at Downpatrick (2¼m, good) 10 days ago. Makes chase debut. RESERVE.
