Timeform View

BOSSY ANGEL caught the eye last time and looks to have found a weak maiden for a stable going great guns, so she's taken to find the required progress. Forest Berry also has experience on her side and may do better if settling, while Dissenter should improve from a relatively promising debut.

Timeform Comments

Beechwood Glory (IRE)
A €10,000 purchase and first foal of a 2-y-o 6f winner who showed a bit when fifth of 8 in a maiden at Nottingham 29 days ago. Scope to improve.
Cruzcampo Cai
Foaled March 10. 5,000 gns yearling. Ubettabelieveit colt purchased from last October's sales. Unlikely sort on paper.
Temple Court (IRE)
More promise when making frame last 2 starts, shaping better than the result when third of 7 over 7f here 16 days ago (rein broke early and jockey couldn't ride him out). Returns to 6f in realistic company.
Zonneveld
Foaled March 1. Showcasing gelding. Brother to 9.4f-11.4f winner Navajo Scout and half-brother to 1m-1¼m winner Desert Lion (by Lope de Vega) and 7f-1m winner Ayr Harbour (by Harbour Watch), both useful. Newcomer in this maiden and market will provide the best guide.
Bossy Angel
Much better effort when fifth of 9 at Windsor 11 days ago, catching the eye with late headway and not given a hard time. Open to further improvement and is one to take seriously for in-form yard.
Defiant Dream
Ninth of 10 on debut but left that form behind when second of 5 over 5f at Ffos Las 37 days ago, keeping on. Wore cheekpieces for that outing but they are now removed and steps back up to 6f.
Dissenter (IRE)
Shaped best of the newcomers when fifth of 11 at Bath in a novice 23 days ago, holding her own until late on. Can improve on that in this ordinary affair.
Evangeline Adams
Foaled April 4. 13,000 gns yearling. Perfect Power filly. Newcomer whose dam is a sister to smart sprinter Alhebayeb. Stable not renowned for juvenile success but she's not without hope on pedigree.
Forest Berry
Improved to finish second over C&D in May and backed that form up when fourth of 10 in maiden at Lingfield in June, again racing freely. Could prove good enough in this lowly contest if settling better.
Napps Way
Foaled March 18. Twilight Son filly newcomer who cost £2,500 last October.
