Timeform View

MAGNA GEE GEE ended a lengthy losing run at Limerick a fortnight ago and is fancied to follow up from just 1 lb higher. Yquem ran well despite a steep rise last time and looks the main danger, while Hexagonal is respected now tackling this level for the first time.

Timeform Comments

Burford Beauty (IRE)
Fair maiden. Stepped up on reappearance run when third of 14 in handicap at Down Royal in May. Not seen to best effect when below form in similar event at Leopardstown last time and capable of finishing in the frame if back to his best.
Hexagonal (IRE)
Runner-up in handicap at Ballinrobe in May but has failed to build on that since despite slipping further in the handicap. Usual headgear removed now tackling a 0-60 event for the first time.
Deuteronomy (IRE)
Scored at Cork in May, but largely below form since and likely needs further respite from the handicapper before becoming of interest.
Georg Zhukov (IRE)
Off the mark over 1m at Dundalk in January but well beaten there both outings in this sphere since and didn't go with a great deal of encouragement when last seen over hurdles 15 days ago. Switches back to the Flat but is better on the all-weather.
Magna Gee Gee (IRE)
Snapped lengthy losing run when winning 12-runner extended 1½m apprentice handicap at Limerick a fortnight ago by a head from Without Love. Races from only a pound higher now back down in trip and has to be high on the shortlist.
Yquem (IRE)
Landed a gamble when scoring in 14-runner handicap at Leopardstown by 3½ lengths from Nibras Rainbow and ran even better when length third to Nibras Rainbow there 16 days ago. One for the shortlist.
Morning Approach (IRE)
Arrives on a lengthy losing run and, while she did take a step back in the right direction when sixth in 22-runner handicap at Leopardstown (9f) earlier this month, she was always behind when fourteenth of 18 at Naas 3 days ago.
Shahada Ace
Out of sorts this year and difficult to make a case for despite tumbling mark.
My Vonnie (IRE)
Maiden that arrives out of form and seems much better on the all-weather than she is on turf.
Haughty
Winner over 1m for Alan King in 2023. Yet to get anywhere near that level in Ireland, including on both outings for current connections.
Duchess Anne (IRE)
Modest maiden that hasn't gone on in handicaps but fared better than of late when 2 lengths fourth of 18 to Dinamine at Naas in July.
Jazz Dreamers (IRE)
Fast approaching 3 years without a win and little encouragement to be gleaned from recent starts for all he's entitled to come on for his recent run.
Lady Luck (IRE)
Maiden handicapper that has yet to finish closer than sixth in 11 starts.
Master Garvey (IRE)
Infrequent winner who finished closer than previously this season equipped with a first-time visor (retained) when fifth of 22 in handicap at Leopardstown (9f) earlier this month. Didn't back that up at Naas 3 days ago, though.
