Timeform View

SASSY GLORY confirmed the promise of her previous run when resuming winning ways in determined fashion over 1m here 4 weeks ago. The drop in trip isn't expected to pose any fears and she can quickly follow up. Angel of England, Twilight Dawn and Timebar are others fancied to be thereabouts, along with Filey Beach.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Sassy Glory traded at a high of 14.00 and Betfair SP of 7.60 when winning last time, a race in which it led.

Timeform Comments

Angel Of England
5-y-o who arrives on a lengthy losing run but has posted good placed efforts on 2 of his last 3 starts, latterly when third of 13 in a 6f handicap here 4 weeks ago. Claims with a repeat dropped in grade and stepped back up in trip.
Filey Beach (IRE)
Landed back-to-back 7f handicaps at Catterick in May prior to finishing third at Wolverhampton (7f) last month. Latest Catterick run has to go down as disappointing but this is a handy drop back down in grade and booking of Loughnane an obvious plus.
I Can Boogy
Won a 1m classified event here in February. One of better efforts since when third of 13 over same C&D on penultimate start but not in same form when well held at Thirsk (1m) 9 days ago. Can bounce back returned to 7f.
Langton Wold (IRE)
Ended 2024 in good form over jumps, twice a runner up over hurdles/fences. Off 19 months prior to finishing fifth in handicap over 1¼m here 4 weeks ago and possible he'll strip fitter for that now dropped significantly in trip.
Sassy Glory (IRE)
Eased in the weights prior to finishing a good second at Beverley in June and built on that when doubling her career tally over 1m here 4 weeks ago, showing a good attitude having set a sound pace. Drop back to 7f not expected to pose any fears and she can go well again.
Timebar
Largely consistent last year and showed benefit of his reappearance effort in May when finishing runner up in a classified contest at Nottingham (6f) 44 days ago. No reason why he won't give another good account in search of first career success.
Trais Fluors
Often slow-starting veteran who hasn't been at his best since recording a fifth success over 1m here earlier this year.
Belling The Cat
Still to win and she failed to build on the remote promise of her 2 previous starts when down the field in a Carlisle handicap 6 weeks ago. Tongue strap now applied with cheekpieces discarded.
Charcon
Little solid form and never a factor in a first-time visor (replaced by cheekpieces) when ninth of 10 in handicap at Redcar 5 weeks ago.
Eva The Deeva
NON RUNNER.
Go Teejay
Down the field first 3 starts, but with cheekpieces applied, showed first form when sixth on handicap debut at Doncaster (7f) in May. However, not in anything like the same form at Redcar later that month. Given a break ahead of this.
Le Puy
Has yet to see each of her 3 races out convincingly, though she had been off a further 8 weeks before coming in last of 8 in an Ayr maiden (6f, soft) 5 weeks ago. Needs to take a step forward.
The Floors Munky
Has yet to match the modest form shown on debut last summer, his sole outing for Iain Jardine. Hard to make a case for with blinkers now enlisted.
Twilight Dawn
Didn't show much as a 2-y-o but more like it in recent months, again making the placings when third in 10-runner handicap at Redcar (7f) 5 weeks ago. Not discounted down in class.
