Timeform View

A small field and BELL SHOT can finally take advantage of a handy mark with the headgear refitted. Trilby is entitled to be on the premises if taking up this engagement, with last-time-out winner The Good Biscuit sure to be thereabouts, too.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Iris Dancer traded at more than 10 times Betfair SP and 2 times Betfair SP when winning on 2 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Trilby
Has been rejuvenated by the fitting of cheekpieces, making it 2 wins from his last 3 starts with a cosy success at Carlisle (5f, soft) in June. Also did well to finish third at York in between his recent victories. Great chance in current form. Engaged 2.00 York Saturday.
Bell Shot (IRE)
Enthusiastic front runner who won at Southwell in January from a 3 lb higher mark and has turned in a couple of respectable efforts of late. Goes back sprinting with the visor refitted, just as it was for that most recent success.
Goyard (IRE)
Won maiden and novice at Ripon last year. Ran well when third over 5f here on reappearance but may have found the race coming too soon back at Ripon last time. Needs to bounce back.
The Good Biscuit
Successful twice at this course last year in softer conditions and has generally maintained his form this season, capitalising on the drop back in grade when winning 8-runner handicap at Catterick (6f, good to firm) 11 days ago having come in for support. Has run well off similar marks before.
Iris Dancer
A prolific winner at Hamilton, recording her 3 successes there this season, latest when beating Ashen by a short head. Has work to do up in grade.
