BRIGHT LEGEND possibly didn't take to a visor when last seen in a much better race at Punchestown in April. He'd been working his way back to form prior to that and could be worth chancing following a break. Drombeg Lad and Emerald Time also appeal in a very tricky handicap.

In a race that lacks confirmed pace-forcers, King Sacre could get the run of things: Of the better-fancied horses, Bright Legend is most likely to be ridden furthest from the pace.

War Correspondent (IRE)
Had blinkers on when hitting the frame in a Wexford chase and claimer in May. Has looked as temperamental as ever both subsequent starts in cheekpieces, latterly finishing well beaten in Stratford handicap hurdle on stable debut. No surprise to see more severe headgear return.
Ice Jet (IRE)
Defied a double penalty to land a 10-day hat-trick at Worcester (2½m) in May. Unlucky not to extend his sequence on chasing debut here latest. Needs to improve on previous hurdle form to resume winning ways, but that's entirely possible given his current trajectory. Ran in void race here on Friday.
Bright Legend (IRE)
Fairly useful across both codes at his best. Back on the up for current yard when making most of good opportunity at Sedgefield (2½m) before finishing well held in a competitive Punchestown handicap in late-April. Visor quickly discarded and worth a chance back down in class after a 3-month break.
Romany Brown (IRE)
Off the mark in Killarney maiden hurdle (17f) on final outing for previous connections last May. Hasn't reached anywhere near those heights since joining current yard, for all he may have needed the run over C&D last time.
King Sacre (FR)
Much improved when dominating a soft-ground Hexham handicap on return from 7 weeks off in May (race produced several next-time-out winners). He's again been freshened up following a disappointing run at Perth, though will likely encounter quicker conditions than previously faced over hurdles.
Drombeg Lad
Fair form to go close in a bumper prior to finishing runner-up in C&D novice last summer. Showed improved form to get off the mark second time up this season at Worcester, settling better before winning in clear-cut style. Entitled to progress on handicap debut and should be firmly in the mix.
Emerald Time
Low-mileage 5-y-o. Improved when comfortably opening his account in first-time tongue strap at Worcester. Ran to similar level (possibly played too soon) when 3¼ lengths third of 5 at Newton Abbot in follow-up bid. Still early days in handicaps and expected to go close if delivered later.
Diesel Line (IRE)
Strong-travelling sort. Won twice/finished third in trio of starts over C&D last summer/autumn. Things haven't gone to plan since his reappearance, possibly needing the run at Market Rasen latest (10 weeks on from a fall here). Not taken lightly if back on song with Sean Bowen aboard first time.
