ASHDOWN FOREST showed more of his Flat ability on his debut for Dan Skelton when landing the odds here on Friday and will be hard to take on if turning out again. Sonyourastar remains open to improvement on his second handicap outing, whilst Uhtred Ragnarson arrives on the back of an encouraging effort.

Low-mileage 5-y-o. Better than the result when a never-nearer length third in a 6-runner handicap hurdle at Stratford (2m). Weighted to go well, though the longer trip is an unknown.
Fiskardo (IRE)
Won a Perth bumper on the back of a significant absence in April. Went backwards from encouraging hurdling debut when 11 lengths third at Worcester last month. Should be seen in a better light up in trip on handicap bow.
October Hill (IRE)
Back to something like her solid Taunton maiden form when getting the best of a sprint finish at Ffos Las in May. Wasn't done with when brought down 3 out at Worcester subsequently. Has been given time to get over that and should continue to give good account for in-form yard. Cheekpieces back on.
Tommy Cullen (IRE)
Got off the mark over fences at Doncaster (2m) in February 2025. Form has been patchy similar events this year. First-time cheekpieces fitted on return to hurdling and it's hard to be confident of a revival.
Sonyourastar (IRE)
Produced his best effort under Rules (wore first-time tongue strap) when 6 lengths fourth on handicap bow at Perth (2½m, good). Didn't fully see out his race on that occasion, though it's still very early days. Probably worth another chance.
The Secret Pearl (IRE)
Scored at Market Rasen (2m) last April but her more recent form is far less encouraging, cheekpieces tried when a well-held third of 8 in handicap there (17f) 37 days ago. Back up in trip with more required.
Ashdown Forest (IRE)
Proved a different proposition over hurdles as he landed the odds on the back of another breathing operation starting out for Dan Skelton in 2m handicap here on Friday. Will make plenty of appeal if turned out quickly again.
Papillondelumiere (IRE)
Maiden pointer has offered little in 3 maiden hurdles. Goes handicapping in first-time cheekpieces.
Mc'flo
Headstrong sort remains a maiden and is opposable again from out of the weights.
