LIZZIE TWIGG looks a good prospect and is fancied to maintain her unbeaten record over hurdles. There should be more to come from Gomez Addams and Fastnet Crystal, who may fill the places in that order. Gordon Elliott's other runner, Porcupine Bank, isn't one to take lightly.

Timeform Comments

Gomez Addams (IRE)
Impressive winner of course bumper on debut 12 months ago. Clearly wasn't himself on first start for Henry de Bromhead but put matters right when successful on hurdling debut at Listowel 8 weeks ago. This has presumably been the target since and he's entitled to run a big race.
Magico (IRE)
Didn't need to replicate his useful Flat form to make a successful debut over hurdles at Killarney in May. Disappointing at Punchestown subsequently, and he'll need to jump better if he's to resume winning ways in better company.
Porcupine Bank (IRE)
Hat-trick seeker who followed up his Punchestown maiden success with a bit in hand at Ballinrobe in late May (both under Sam Ewing). Has presumably been earmarked for this race (off 9 weeks) and is open to further improvement.
Brosna Town (IRE)
Fair Flat winner for Dermot Weld. Best effort in maiden hurdles when 1¼ lengths second at Market Rasen (21f) last time. Cheekpieces fitted for drop back in distance and faces a stiff task in this company. Engaged 5.40 Galway Monday.
Bruise Hill (IRE)
Finished much closer than previously on handicap bow at Cork earlier this month. Looks out of his depth in a listed race, though.
Lizzie Twigg (IRE)
Strong-travelling sort who was well backed to win a Down Royal bumper on debut. Furthered a promising start to her hurdles career when scoring by 3½ lengths at Roscommon last time. She's the pick of Jack Kennedy and has excellent claims to make it a hat-trick.
Milan Forth (IRE)
Fairly useful 3-time winner over fences. Finished respectable third in first-time cheekpieces at Kilbeggan 4 days ago. Back in this sphere for first time since beaten 9 lengths in a Punchestown conditions race on hurdling debut in April. He'll need to improve on that to play a significant role.
Fastnet Crystal (IRE)
Only beaten ½-length by a now-useful bumper performer (with experience edge) on debut at Thurles in December. Had breathing issue at Punchestown but all the better for a tongue tie when winning decisively on hurdling debut/return at Downpatrick. Unexposed and likely better to come.
Brave Lady (IRE)
Fair form to place 3 times in bumpers. Made an encouraging start over hurdles behind a Willie Mullins-trained favourite at Kilbeggan last time. Entitled to improve on that, though will probably be found wanting in a much stronger event.
