Timeform View

A competitive fillies handicap with preference for the progressive ANNASTARZY who can maintain her winning streak. The in-form Crazee Icon should be in the mix as she bids for the hat-trick, with Rumba Numba entitled to be on the premises despite a high draw. Nanino Niyati and Wid are others to consider.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Rumba Numba traded at more than 10 times Betfair SP and 2 times Betfair SP when winning on 2 of its last 5 starts: Vixey has traded at 50% or less of Betfair SP 3 times on its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Betty Clover
Highly tried since winning a listed race at York at 2 and has shaped better than the bare form figures indicate on occasions this season. Keen and well held in competitive Royal Ascot handicap last time and she possibly remains a shade too high in the weights.
Nanino Niyati
A 1¼m winner for Daniel & Claire Kubler in 2025 and has made an encouraging start for new yard, winning second time out this season at Newbury (1¼m) in June in game fashion. Beaten less than ½-length when fourth at Ascot 17 days ago and should continue to give a good account.
Just Call Me Angel
Signed off juvenile campaign with success in Italian Group 2 at Milan and picked up where she left off when landing the Italian 1000 Guineas there in May. Well held in listed race at this course and Sandringham Handicap at Royal Ascot since and now has questions to answer from this mark.
Rumba Numba
Progressive 3-y-o who made a successful return in 5-runner Doncaster handicap in June. Acquitted herself well when fifth in Kensington Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot (1m) just 12 days later. Looks sure to go well again for yard who won this last season (she also shaped well in the race in fourth).
Song N Dance
Ended 2025 with back-to-back 7f/1m wins Leicester and Newcastle and returned with runner-up efforts in 1m handicaps at Southwell and Ascot (form boosted) on first 2 starts this year. Probably unsuited by drop back to 7f at Newmarket 17 days ago. Each-way claims.
Electrifarhh
Lightly-raced filly who won 1m Kempton novice as a 2-y-o. No better than mid-field both starts in handicaps this season though wasn't seen to best effect at Newbury last time. Fitted with a first-time hood but others appeal as better treated at the weights.
Annastarzy
Progressing nicely since sent handicapping, recording a recent hat-trick at Thirsk, Goodwood (over C&D) and Newbury (by 1¼ lengths from Commander of Life, with bit in hand). The form of those last 2 wins is working out well and she has to be taken seriously from a favourable draw.
Vixey
A 4-time winner last season who built upon her reappearance effort with a fine second at Chester 17 days ago. May find this tougher up in grade.
Star Mirage (USA)
Placed all 3 starts to date on the all-weather/dirt. Chased home subsequent UAE Oaks winner Labwah in a conditions race at Meydan when last seen in December. This is a tough spot to make her handicap debut after a 7-month absence and she also needs to prove her effectiveness on turf.
Si Grass (IRE)
Thrice-raced filly who won 1m Southwell maiden in January with plenty in hand. Conceded first run when second in novice over that C&D the following month when last seen. Has a bit to find on form now switched to handicaps but is low mileage. Yard won this 2 years ago.
Crazee Icon
Had shaped well on several occasions before opening her account in 8-runner handicap at Chester in June. Became the third next-time-out winner out of that race when following up there 17 days ago in decisive fashion. Up in grade but not taken lightly in hat-trick bid.
Atlantis Blue
Scored at Lingfield (9f) last summer before finishing second in the 2025 renewal of this off a 2 lb higher mark. Made the frame at Kempton both starts this year and now back in a fillies race.
Wid (IRE)
Settled better than previously when opening her account in 6-runner novice at Carlisle (1m, firm) 19 days ago. Is bred to be at least smart and there should be more to come now stepping into handicaps.
Proposal
3-y-o filly who returned from 7 months off with a much-improved performance to get off the mark in 10-runner Doncaster maiden. Can have a line put through her Windsor run on handicap debut last time after a slow start. Wide draw doesn't help but she remains with potential.
Perdy In Paris
Placed on all 3 starts, latest when second of 14 in maiden at Kempton (7f) on reappearance in May. Will be suited by this trip but she's racing from just out of the weights on handicap/turf debut.
