Timeform View

Top-weight SHE'S A FINE WINE continues on the up and might be able to complete the hat-trick with the strong gallop likely to show her to good effect. Splashing Out has looked revitalised over hurdles and is respected with the form of her latest win reading well, with the unexposed Bossy Bird also high on the shortlist in a typically competitive handicap.

Timeform Comments

She's A Fine Wine (IRE)
Useful effort when winning handicap chase at Cork (2¼m, good) in October and made light of an 8-month absence to follow up from her lower hurdles mark in a 12-runner event at Downpatrick by ½ length from You Make Me Smile. Proved game there and a strong gallop will suit as she bids for a hat-trick.
Venusienne (FR)
Shaped promisingly when runner-up in listed hurdle at Auteuil on debut. Highly tried in 2 starts for current yard last spring, before easily landing the odds (fitted with a hood) in 2½m Tramore maiden in October. Disappointing in a Kilbeggan minor event last month and now makes handicap debut.
Missus Beeton (IRE)
Revitalised by the addition of cheekpieces last season, winning mares handicaps at Down Royal in January and at Leopardstown in March. Has looked summed up by her mark both starts since though, whilst her best form also comes on a softer surface. Visor replaces cheekpieces.
Billie Frechette (IRE)
Landed a maiden hurdle at Cork last summer prior to staying on strongly to finish runner-up in this race on her next start. In the frame in 3 maiden chases this summer, not really convincing with her jumping at Kilbeggan last time. Not discounted back over hurdles.
Samba Train (IRE)
Dual bumper winner who made her third start over hurdles a winning one when benefiting from the longer trip to win a 16-runner novice hurdle at Killarney (2¾m, good to soft) 79 days ago. Markedly shorter distance here isn't ideal, but she should at least get a strong pace to aim at.
Ardeen Joy (IRE)
Resumed her progress when the facile winner of a 13-runner maiden hurdle at Bellewstown (2½m, good) 25 days ago. Opening mark has suffered as a result but she can't be ruled out making handicap debut for top yard.
Splashing Out (IRE)
Hadn't been the most consistent but returned to form back over hurdles at Downpatrick in May and built on that to land a 6-runner handicap at Tramore (2m, good) 61 days ago. That form has since been franked by the runner-up and she's a big player.
Zahra Dodville (FR)
French recruit made a winning yard debut in a 5-runner race at Fakenham before finishing third in a listed juvenile at Newbury in late-November. Picked off only by one played later when runner-up in a 10-runner handicap at Cartmel (17f, good) 67 days. Very interesting with cheekpieces now on.
Camlin Park (IRE)
Point winner who proved a different proposition to on hurdling debut when landing a Downpatrrick maiden in August. Pulled up in 2 handicaps since, though, so plenty to prove after 114 days off.
Fratas (IRE)
Rather all or nothing over hurdles for Michael Mulvany. Might have needed the run after almost a year off when making debut for this yard in a 1m Flat handicap last month. Betting might prove best guide.
Wonderfulwonderful (IRE)
Fairly useful on Flat and struck at first time of asking over hurdles in Killarney juvenile in August. Respectable efforts in listed events on her next 2 outings and shed her maiden tag on the Flat at Ballinrobe last month. Goes handicapping back in this sphere now and her mark demands improvement.
Crohan Lady (IRE)
Opened her account under Rules in a 2m Tramore maiden in April. Ran at least as well in defeat at Cork next time before finding progress to finish a close second of 4 in minor event hurdle at Clonmel (19f, good, 12/1) 54 days ago. Respected back in a handicap.
Cleopatra's Needle (IRE)
Won this race last year and runner-up twice on the Flat since, but returned with nasal discharge in a Flat handicap at Navan earlier in the month, which tempers enthusiasm for her repeat bid.
Hillhead Runner (IRE)
Bumper winner who showed fair form in maiden hurdles for Gavin Cromwell last season. Spurned what looked a good opportunity having been granted an easy lead when fourth of 8 in maiden at Kilbeggan (19f, good) 19 days ago. Tongue strap back on.
Two Pair (IRE)
Posted career best when winning 16-runner novice hurdle at Bellewstown in April but disappointing when only eighth of 14 on handicap debut at Wexford (2½m) next time. Still reasonably low mileage.
Simple Things (IRE)
Lightly-raced 4-y-o who finished runner-up in mares handicap hurdles at Bellewstown/Wexford in the spring. Shaped as if still in decent form for a long way before not really seeing her race out at Roscommon last time but she holds frame claims going back down in trip.
Astelia (IRE)
Arrives here on the back of 3 second-placed finishes, most recently in a 15-runner novice hurdle (5/2) at Roscommon (2m, good) 23 days ago. Yard have a good record in this race and she's a player back in a handicap.
Bossy Bird (IRE)
Lightly-raced sort improved when second of 16 on handicap hurdle debut at Cork (2½m, good, 25/1) 19 days ago, travelling well and still keeping on when hampered final 50 yds. Up 4 lb but should be in the mix again.
Small Bucks (IRE)
Produced an improved effort from a reduced mark when winning a 15-runner handicap hurdle at Downpatrick (2¼m, good) 15 days ago by 7½ lengths from Sea of Doubt. Took that race easily, so 8 lb rise looks workable.
Sea Of Doubt (IRE)
Won at Downpatrick in May and has remained in good form since, making it 3 placed efforts in a row when 7½ lengths second of 15 to Small Bucks in handicap hurdle at Downpatrick (2¼m, good, 4/1) 15 days ago. Engaged 5.45 here Tuesday.
Emesteraye (IRE)
Improved third on handicap debut/return at Wexford (17f, good to soft) in May before filling the same position in an 11-runner event at Limerick 4 weeks ago. Remains open to improvement with strong gallop likely to suit if getting a run. Tongue strap on first time. RESERVE.
Tingarran Express (IRE)
Handicap hurdle winner at Tramore last summer and went close at Clonmel on her penultimate outing. Ninth of 13 in handicap chase at Wexford (19f, good, 11/1) on debut over fences 26 days ago. Probably needs a bit more back hurdling. RESERVE.
You Make Me Smile (IRE)
Fit from a couple of good efforts on the Flat when placed in handicap hurdles at Ballinrobe and Downpatrick in May/June. Seemingly failed to get home upped to 2m back on the level last time and others make more appeal. RESERVE.
