Got away on terms for a change and showed improved form when landing a 6-runner 11f handicap at Hamilton 18 days ago by a short head from Mr Moonshine. Up 3 lb but looks open to further progress and will be suited by this extended trip.
Al's River (IRE)
Showed fair form on third of 3 starts as a 2-y-o and on return but has gone the wrong way on both outings since and has plenty to prove at present.
Captain Cairney
Front runner who has twice gone close to doubling his win tally this summer when narrowly beaten into second at this track in June and when edged out at Chepstow earlier this month. Ran one of lesser races last time but should get her own way at the head of affairs.
