Impossible to rule out any of the quartet but KAKIRRA hasn't looked back since being switched to handicaps/upped in trip and with the ceiling of his ability yet to be ascertained, Ollie Sangster's 3-y-o can stretch his winning sequence to 5. Boilermaker can edge out stable-switcher Last Verse for the forecast spot.

Timeform Comments

Last Verse (IRE)
Showed improved form to get off the mark sporting first-time cheekpieces in 4-runner handicap at Chepstow (1½m, good to firm) earlier in the month, helped by being allowed to set his own fractions. Has moved yards since (20,000 gns) but unexposed over middle distances and can progress again.
Outflank (IRE)
Ran to a similar level when third on all 3 starts in maiden/novices. Failed to progress sporting first-time blinkers when last of 6 on handicap debut at Newmarket (1½m, good to firm) just under 6 weeks ago and hopes pinned on this step up to 1¾m.
Kakirra (IRE)
Much improved since sent handicapping, displaying plenty of resolution to bring up the 4-timer in 5-runner event at Newbury (13.3f, firm) just under 3 weeks ago. A tough and likeable sort, he remains of interest from a 5 lb higher mark.
Boilermaker (FR)
Didn't show much in 3 novice events at 1m but different proposition switched to handicaps/upped in trip, again turned over at short odds sporting first-time cheekpieces when second of 5 in handicap at Doncaster (1½m, firm) 11 days ago. Looks a matter of time before he gets off the mark.
