SI WHITE made light of a 6-month absence when going in at the first time of asking in handicaps at Southwell and can follow up here under a 6 lb penalty. Goldfinder appeals as the one to chase home Sir Mark Prescott's improver ahead of Crown Inn To Win and Forever Perfect.

Timeform Comments

Evening Fades
Ulysses filly shaped encouragingly when fourth at Lingfield (1m) on debut in December but has failed to build on it, fourth of 5 in handicap at Salisbury (1¼m) 19 days ago. Up in trip. Makes tapeta debut.
African Gib
Lightly-raced maiden. Off 6 months and only eighth of 10 in handicap at Windsor (1¼m) last month. Up in trip with more required on tapeta debut.
Goldfinder
In the frame on all 5 runs, posting a very good second of 8 in handicap over C&D last month, nearest finish. That form has been well advertised since and he merits consideration nudged up 1 lb.
Worlington
Gained a first win (tongue tied and cheekpieces on) at Ffos Las (1½m) in June but came in last of 9 under a 6 lb penalty at Lingfield 24 days ago. Bounce back needed.
Forever Perfect
Gained a first win over C&D in April and in good form since until a below-par third back on turf at Thirsk (1½m) last month. Needs considering back here.
La Kosmos
Hinted at promise in first 3 runs but off 4 months and a well-held eighth of 10 in handicap here (9.5f) 59 days ago. Could still do better after a break.
Baron Wagstaff
Lightly-raced maiden. Last of 6 in handicap at Nottingham (1¼m) 28 days ago. Others are preferred.
Crown Inn To Win (IRE)
Gained a first win over C&D in April. Set a lot to do when a good third of 6 in handicap at Haydock following month. Since had a breathing operation and not out of things after a break.
Sir Griflet (IRE)
Modest maiden. 50/1 and tongue strap on for 1st time when tenth of 15 in handicap at Ascot (1½m) 5 days ago. Others are more persuasive.
Si White (GER)
Son of Soldier Hollow was much improved after 6 months off on his handicap debut when bagging 10-runner event at Southwell (11f) a week ago. Capable of a fair bit better still and the one to beat under a 6 lb penalty.
Blue Tulip (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden. 22/1, raced freely when a creditable sixth of 10 in handicap over C&D 16 days ago. Needs to build on it.
Rajbello (IRE)
Modest maiden for Richard Hughes who signed off for yard with a creditable fifth of 13 in handicap at Bath (1¼m) last month. Usual blinkers left off for new yard here.
