Timeform View

OTHERWORLDLY has a handy draw and looks the one to beat on return to maiden company. Ischgl is weighted to go close, while there could be better to come from Joga Bonito and Mirren.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Otherworldly traded at a low of 9.80 and Betfair SP of 9.60 when losing last time, a race in which it raced behind.

Timeform Comments

High Morals (USA)
€90,000 Highly Motivated colt. Showed a bit more than on debut when 5½ lengths second (no match for easy winner) at Bellewstown (1m). Has plenty to find on these terms, for all he's open to further improvement.
Mirren
Showed plenty to work on when 4 lengths fifth of 12 on debut at Leopardstown (7f). Wasn't given a hard time on that occasion and the form is beginning to work out. Should be in the mix if improving as expected.
Otherworldly (IRE)
Group 1 entrant who is a half-brother to a smart miler. Shaped well when ½-length second at the Curragh (6f) on debut. Wasn't given a hard time once his chance at gone in Group 3 there subsequently, again looking ready for this step up in trip. Sets the standard on return to maiden company.
Sovreigns Joy
Foaled February 27. 30,000 gns foal, Kameko colt. Brother to 5.5f winner Berkshire Kameo and half-brother to 6f winner Startled Lady. Dam unraced out of useful 2-y-o 6f winner (stayed 1m) Terror. Trainer's sole debut runner last month finished second. This is probably one for down the line.
Joga Bonito
Has proven expensive to follow. Did beat some fairly useful types when runner-up at Fairyhouse second time up. Since ran to a similar level when close third at Downpatrick (7f). Subsequent gelding operation/first-time cheekpieces should both help, and he may well do better for excellent yard.
Petrolio (IRE)
€5,000 yearling, €30,000 yearling. Space Traveller colt. Half-brother to winner up to 7f Grey Sparkle (2-y-o 6f winner, by Starspangledbanner) and 7f-8.6f winner Ravenglass. Dam unraced sister to useful 5f winner Delizia. Yard's newcomers have typically been needing their first run.
Supreme Act (IRE)
Well held both starts to date. Seemingly being brought along with handicaps in mind.
Imperial Duke (IRE)
Foaled March 8. Equiano gelding. Half-brother to 3 winners, including 1m/9f winner Spanish Colt and 1¼m-11.4f winner Lady Bin. Dam unraced half-sister to smart winners up to 9f Wentworth and Sandiva. Doesn't look an obvious type on paper.
Ischgl (IRE)
Hit the frame all 3 maiden starts, including pair of seconds behind above-average types. Ran to a similar level when down the field in the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot (6f) latest. Longer trip/first-time cheekpieces an interesting angle and should be bang there if getting across from stall 16.
Jisir
Foaled March 29. 25,000 gns 2-y-o, Tasleet colt. Half-brother to 3 winners, including 12.3f/12.4f winner Bur Dubai and 1½m-1¾m winner Emirates Empire, both useful. Dam, 9.5f/1¼m winner, half-sister to smart 7f-9f winner Queen Supreme. Likely to be one for another day.
Pennsylvania Ave (IRE)
Shaped as if better for the run/not given hard time when 6¼ lengths fourth of 9 on debut at Bellewstown (1m). He's in the right hands to improve, though Otherworldly looks the stable's leading hope.
Good Newbridge (IRE)
Foaled April 12. Calyx filly. Half-sister to winner up to 1¼m Fa Mulan. Dam twice-raced half-sister to useful winner up to 6f Grande Marques. Yard won this race with a big-price newcomer 2 years ago, though hard to be confident she'll follow suit.
Heart Of You (IRE)
Foaled February 13. Lucky Vega filly. Dam, second at 7f in Japan, half-sister to 1m-1½m winner Memorial Day and 6f-1m winner Mutafawwig (both smart) out of smart winner up to 1¼m (2-y-o 1m winner) (stayed 1½m) Reunite. Well-bred newcomer has a useful draw and is worth noting if supported.
Cromane
Related to some useful sorts. Didn't go unbacked when beaten 4¼ lengths (wasn't knocked about) on debut at Cork (6f, soft). That form unlikely to be good enough, but she could have more to offer 10 weeks on.
Romance (GER)
Offered something to work on at huge odds when 6 lengths fifth of 10 on debut at Roscommon in early May. Has a fair chunk of improvement to find, and stall 18 is far from ideal on second career start.
Amigos Legacy (IRE)
Offered little in either start to date. Steps up in trip following 3-month break. RESERVE.
Closefield Beau (IRE)
Beaten 11 lengths in Down Royal maiden last month that's working out well. Should at least last longer second time up. RESERVE
September Duke
Shaped like a longer-term prospect when down the field on debut at Roscommon last month. RESERVE
