Timeform View

TIMBER TWELVE looked to relish the idiosyncratic test Epsom provides when a comfortable winner there last time and with a plum draw in Stall 1, he's fancied to repeat the dose here. L'Eagle Aid has already posted several good efforts here this season and can go well again, with Charmaine taken to complete the 1-2-3.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Charmaine has traded at 50% or less of Betfair SP 3 times on its last 5 starts: L'eagle Aid traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Patagonia Girl
Made all over C&D in May before struggling in Group 3 contest at Carlisle. Looked back in form over 10.3f here on her penultimate start but below form over that same trip here last time. Still unexposed over this far, though.
Charmaine
A consistent sort that was a dual all-weather winner at Southwell and at this course last spring. Back in good heart in 2026 and was far from discredited when fourth of 12 in handicap at Kempton (11f) 34 days ago. Mark has since eased 1 lb.
Kuredu King (IRE)
Progressive staying handicapper for the Gosdens last summer who finished well held in a couple of hurdle starts for new yard. However, he ran well when fourth in a 2m handicap on return to the Flat here in May but didn't look to have the pace for 1¾m at Newmarket last time. Down further in trip now.
Westerton (IRE)
Winless for some time but pretty consistent in defeat for bulk of last season (when trained by Alan King). Unlucky not to shed maiden tag over hurdles at Warwick in May and seemed unsuited by the step up in trip at Cartmel last time. Market should still prove best guide back on the level.
Timber Twelve
Won 1m all-weather novices on first 2 starts. Wasn't able to continue his progress on handicap bow but ran well over 10.3f here next time and produced a much improved effort when readily winning a 10-runner event at Epsom (1½m, good to firm) 32 days ago. Should take some catching from stall 1.
L'eagle Aid (IRE)
Has shaped with some promise a couple of times this summer and didn't find a steady gallop playing to his strengths when third of 4 in handicap at Catterick (1½m, good to firm, 15/8) 11 days ago. Respected with cheekpieces on 1st time.
Level Look
Left his first 2 runs behind to win 4-runner novice at Newcastle (1¼m) in January. Too keen on his return from 6 months off when last of 4 on his handicap debut at Newmarket (1½m, good to firm, 11/4) 16 days ago. Should still prove fully effective at this trip.
