Timeform View

INA MINA hasn’t shown much over hurdles so far, but she is well treated on last summer’s Flat form and looks worth chancing in an ordinary handicap. Syosset arrives in good order and looks the chief threat, with Stily and Highland Earl also respected.

Timeform Comments

Codger's Rock (IRE)
Left previous efforts behind when second of 14 in 2m maiden hurdle at Kilbeggan in May and is best excused effort in similar event there 24 days ago due to a bad mistake 2 out. Makes his handicap debut with the yard back among the winners, but his opening mark looks no gift.
Ikalimix (FR)
In frame on first 2 starts in bumpers but lightly raced since and hasn't cut a great deal of ice in maiden hurdles, acknowledging he probably needed the run last September after a 16-month absence. Off again since and handicapper has taken no chance with his mark.
Memories Maker
Showed fair form as a 3-y-o on the Flat but has made little impact in limited outings since, including on 2026 return, and has yet to finish better than mid-field in a trio of starts in maiden hurdles. Hard to fancy now tackling a handicap in this sphere.
Maxicourt (IRE)
Unreliable sort but turned in best effort of the season when 3½ lengths third of 23 to Gino Bella in C&D handicap 24 days ago. Obvious claims if repeating that effort but comes with risks attached.
Syosset (IRE)
Good efforts when placed in handicaps at Roscommon and Wexford last month, in first-time hood when 3 lengths second of 10 to thriving Del Boys Diva last time. Up 3 lb but not yet fully exposed. One for the shortlist.
Redcliff Glen (GER)
Has come down the weights but failed to meet expectations when 24¾ lengths fifth of 14 to Topothelane at Wexford when last seen in May. Tongue strap back on now and dropped another 2 lb, though others make more appeal.
Highland Earl (IRE)
Showed improved form and landed a gamble when winning 14-runner 17f handicap hurdle at Wexford last season by head from Prince of Air. Shaped as if needing returning from 12 months off at Roscommon 28 days ago and likely to be much closer to form this time.
Scarlet Purse (IRE)
Makes debut for another new yard having failed to make an impact in bumpers or hurdles.
Stily (FR)
Maiden hurdler/chaser who was pulled up in handicap chase at Limerick in May after 6 months off. Back over hurdles and not discounted on his 2 placed efforts in this sphere last summer, especially with a good-value conditional on board.
Vairue (IRE)
Made late headway from a long way back when 20¼ lengths seventh of 16 to Boston Bobby at Kilbeggan on return from 20 months off. Probably best watched unless market suggests otherwise.
Ina Mina
Well held all 4 starts in maiden hurdles but very much the type to do better now tackling a handicap in this sphere on the back of a break, with her opening mark looking potentially lenient based on her 2025 Flat form.
Benzine
Maiden who returned in good form this season but was well below form back over fences last time. Capable of being in the mix if bouncing back over hurdles.
Clarin Breeze (IRE)
Maiden who has been sent off at large odds and made little to no impact over hurdles, including on handicap debut last time.
Leo Messy (IRE)
Fared no better when well held in first-time tongue strap on handicap bow at Sligo last month. Market position (9/2) suggests that better may have been expected but drop back to 2m not an obvious call given the stamina in his pedigree.
Nobody (IRE)
Limited maiden who has yet to finish better than mid-field in 8 starts over hurdles.
Another Blunder (IRE)
Well beaten all 4 starts in maiden hurdles and lots more needed now handicapping back down markedly in trip.
Who's Da Goose
Inexpensive gelding who has finished mid-division at best in a trio of maiden hurdles. Makes handicap debut. RESERVE.
Malbas
No impact over hurdles/fences last 5 starts, but he's at least now below his last winning mark. RESERVE.
Space Warrior (IRE)
On long losing run but turned in a decent effort when 6¾ lengths third of 16 to Le Diablo at Clonmel in April. Rather predictably failed to back that up last time, but obvious claims on that previous effort if able to bounce back. Engaged 13.50 Galway Sunday. RESERVE.
