LIVIO should prove too strong if back on song. Eye Contact appeals as the main danger, with Saporetti, Johnny Rambo and Master Sydney considered for the places.

Timeform Comments

Beyond Forgiveness (IRE)
Libertarian gelding. Half-brother to 3 winners, including bumper winner/fairly useful 2¼m hurdle winner Full Confession. Pulled up sole start in points (May 2025). Market can guide on return/Rules debut.
Buachaill Jagoes (IRE)
€22,000 3-y-o, Walk In The Park gelding. Half-brother to 4 winners, including useful hurdlers Secrete Stream and Donnie Azoff. Dam unraced half-sister to smart chaser (stayed 3m) Promalee. Made frame sole start in points (Mar 2026) and warrants a second look with talented conditional booked.
Carajillo (IRE)
No impact in a pair of maiden hurdles in May. One for the longer term.
Eye Contact
Well-held fourth in much stronger race at Ballinrobe in May. Confirmed that improvement when ½-length second on handicap debut there (17f) last time. Interesting returning to an ordinary maiden with more severe headgear fitted.
Lastofthenatives (IRE)
Unpromising in points and well held both maiden hurdle starts.
Livio (FR)
Picked up for €260,000 following Grade 3 bumper win on debut in France in 2024. Encouraging start over hurdles after 20 months off when third of 12 in maiden at Killarney (2½m) in May. Some mitigation for his subsequent flop at Punchestown and looks worth another chance following 10-week break.
Sankofa (IRE)
€5,000 3-y-o, Linda's Lad gelding. Dam (h64), bumper winner, half-sister to dual bumper winner/useful hurdler (stayed 21f) Woolstone One. Third sole start in points in April and the betting can guide now switched to Rules.
The Monkey Pole (IRE)
Has gone the wrong way since finishing runner-up in pair of maiden hurdles last summer.
Vargas (IRE)
£22,000 3-y-o, Vadamos gelding. Half-brother to 5 winners, including useful hurdler/chaser The Four Sixes and fair hurdler/fairly useful chaser Innovated. Dam (h93) 2m hurdle winner. Pulled up both starts in points in 2025. In good hands but probably needs time.
Woodie Wiley (IRE)
Only showed a bit in a Bellewstown bumper (effectively his Rules debut) and probably one for the longer term over hurdles.
Adifferentballowax (IRE)
Hasn't offered much in a couple of bumpers either side of a considerate hurdling debut. Handicaps over further may prove more his bag.
Bury Your Past (IRE)
Idaho gelding. Half-brother to fair hurdler/chase winner Passing Diamond. Dam unraced half-sister to useful hurdler (winner around 2m) Wouldn't You Agree. Unplaced completed start in points (May 24). Hard to be confident he'll fare any better on Rules debut.
Devine Genius (FR)
Regressive maiden on the Flat. Plenty to prove sent hurdling.
Johnny Rambo (IRE)
Runner-up in an eventful Clonmel novice hurdle before going one better in straightforward fashion in a Kilbeggan bumper later in June. Unexposed back hurdling but does have a fair bit to find with the form principals.
Pinkarizon (IRE)
Fair maiden at best on Flat for Warren Greatrex. Sold cheaply from that yard and has made no impact in 3 hurdle starts.
Saporetti (IRE)
Modest winner at 1½m on the Flat in France. Has made a positive start over hurdles for current yard and would have finished a bit closer barring a mistake when 9 lengths third in a course maiden (17f) latest. This looks a stronger race, though.
Voice Of Northeast (IRE)
Fair Flat maiden. Best recent effort came when fourth in big-field 1½m Leopardstown handicap in May. Ran poorly since and stamina to prove now sent hurdling in usual tongue strap.
Master Sydney (IRE)
On the up when winning a Roscommon bumper easily last July. Hasn't fired on the Flat this year, latterly in first-time cheekpieces (retained). Place claims if translating fair bumper form to hurdles.
Le Vent D'ex (FR)
Pulled up on bumper debut for Anthony Mullins. Hard to fancy sent hurdling by new yard following 12 months off. RESERVE.
Champagne Diamond
Unpromising in points and similar story on hurdling debut last summer. RESERVE.
Majestic Horizon (IRE)
€45,000 3-y-o by Wings Of Eagles. Half-brother to dual bumper winner/smart 2m hurdle winner Dark Raven. Successful sole start in point. Improved from Rules debut when third in a Downpatrick bumper in late-May. Others have stronger bumper form but going the right way ahead of hurdling bow. RESERVE.
