Timeform View

Cases can be made for several of these but preference is for BEAR RIGHT, who remains a maiden but has been knocking at the door of late and Shane Foley is back in the saddle here. Sherekiya could well prove a different proposition now handicapping over a longer trip so she heads up the dangers, with Rappell and Land of The Giants another couple to consider, too.

Timeform Comments

Altimara (IRE)
Dual 7f Leopardstown winner last August. Has slipped in the weights and turned in best effort of the season when sixth of 18 at Fairyhouse (7f, good) last month. Needs to build on that here.
Lough Leane (IRE)
Hard to catch right but scored in 9.6f handicap at Ballinrobe in May and ran respectably there last time. Work to do down in trip.
Chester Nimitz (IRE)
Maiden winner for Noel Meade in October. Not seen to best effect in handicaps first 3 starts for new yard but disappointing dropped to a 0-70 at Fairyhouse last time and tongue strap now reached for.
Rappell (IRE)
Capitalised on a drop in grade to open his account for the year in 14-runner event at Limerick (6.7f, good to firm) just over 3 weeks ago, edging ahead final 1f. Tongue tie reapplied and fancied to feature despite a 9 lb higher mark to contend with.
Phoenix Pairc (IRE)
Won a maiden at Dundalk in 2025. Poor efforts in handicaps since, including twice this season. Quickly back up in trip and the handicapper has given her a chance.
Dynamic Force (IRE)
Showed a willing attitude to end a lengthy losing run in 16-runner event at Gowran (7f, good to firm) 9 days ago, all out to hold on having led over 1f out. 5 lb higher here and not out of things now back in the winning groove.
Mo Anam Chara (IRE)
Didn't need to improve to get off the mark in 10-runner claiming maiden at Roscommon (7.4f, good to soft) 11 weeks ago, capitalising on a better position than her slow-starting market rival. Can kick on back in a handicap now up and running.
Darkdeserthighway (IRE)
Has registered 3 of her 4 wins at Dundalk and she was in good order there earlier in the year, but she isn't at that level on turf and failed to come on for recent run at Killarney (1m, good) last month.
Profit Surge (IRE)
Long-standing maiden but knocking at the door, third of 8 in maiden at Bellewstown (5f, good) last month. Tongue tie reapplied for this return to a handicap/7f and holds solid place claims yet again.
Sherekiya (IRE)
Showed promise in 3 maidens last year and there's an obvious chance she improves plenty on handicap debut/return given connections. Warrants considerable respect.
Irish Rumour (IRE)
On long losing run and failed to justify support having held every chance when fifth of 15 at Navan (6f, good to firm) just over 3 weeks ago. Back up to 7f but easy to look elsewhere for win purposes.
Land Of The Giants (IRE)
Sole success came at Ayr (9f) in May and can have his last couple of efforts overlooked, most recently when sixth of 14 in claimer at Killarney (1m, good) just under 3 weeks ago. Folly to ignore from his reduced mark.
Volendam
Belatedly opened her account at Bath and ran her race without ever quite getting to the all-the-way winner when second of 8 at Nottingham (8.3f, good to firm) just under 6 weeks ago. Has since left Tony Carroll and not without each-way claims.
Bear Right (IRE)
Still a maiden but had first-time cheekpieces on and made the frame once more without being seen to very best effect when third of 14 at Leopardstown (7f, good) 18 days ago, left with a lot to do having lost her position down the inside. Big chance reunited with Shane Foley.
Zheleznaya Dama (USA)
Showed much improved form under a front-running Oisin Murphy ride when second of 12 in handicap at Killarney (1m, good) just under 3 weeks ago. Nudged up 2 lb but every chance she can feature.
Frosted Sky
Has been brought along steadily, a patiently-ridden sixth of 13 in maiden at Cork (5f) just over 7 weeks ago. Appeals as a likely improver now stepping up in trip on her handicap debut.
Summer Snow (IRE)
Struggling for form at present, seventeenth of 20 at the Curragh (1m, good to firm) just over 5 weeks ago. Handicapper drops her another chunk. RESERVE.
Suerte (IRE)
Some promise in maidens but has lost way this year. Returns from 11-week absence. RESERVE.
Miss Ivor (IRE)
Little form to her name and first-time cheekpieces made no difference when last of 9 in maiden at the Curragh (1½m, good) a couple of months ago. Dropped back markedly in trip for this handicap return. RESERVE.
