Timeform View

This looks to revolve around CIRCUS HILL, who offered something to work on in this sphere back in the spring and Mark McNiff's mare has run really well in a couple of subsequent course bumpers (first past the post last month but demoted for interference). Sea Feliz showed precious little on debut, but she's surely capable of much better, with Speisialta and My Elusive Mate rounding off the shortlist.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Circus Hill traded at a low of 1.01 and Betfair SP of 2.96 when losing last time, a race in which it raced behind and travelled strongly early on.

Timeform Comments

An Lachin Beag (IRE)
Showed a bit when a well-beaten third of 12 in bumper at Naas on debut in November but took a backwards step at Down Royal the following month. Big outsider on return/hurdling debut.
Circus Hill (IRE)
In frame in a maiden hurdle at this course in May and went even closer to opening her account in a course bumper (2¼m, good) last month, first past the post but demoted having edged left close home. Looks the one to beat returned to hurdling with more to come.
Glendaars Crystal (IRE)
Well held in 3 of maiden hurdles and will make no appeal this side of handicaps.
I Dont Really Care (IRE)
Tailed off in bumper at Thurles (2m, soft) on debut in December. Off 7 months ahead of this hurdling debut.
Idaho Expresso (IRE)
Won only once from 9 point starts and tailed off on completed start over hurdles. First-time hood and tongue tie applied.
Nelliestar (IRE)
Very limited Flat performer making hurdles debut after 3-month absence.
Saoirses Choice (IRE)
Showed a bit when fourth of 8 to in mares maiden bumper at Limerick on debut in May but went backwards from that performance at Punchestown last time. Hard to see her featuring on hurdling debut.
Sea Feliz (IRE)
Getaway mare who ran too badly to be true when tailed off in maiden hurdle at Roscommon (21f, good) on debut last month. Needs to leave that effort well behind but there's every chance she will.
Speisialta (IRE)
Showed ability despite racing freely when making the frame in a Punchestown bumper in January. However, she refused to race on intended first outing last month and looked a hard ride when tailed off at Wexford a fortnight ago. Makes hurdling debut.
Kilgharrahs Love (IRE)
Limited Flat performer making hurdles debut. Usual headgear discarded.
Maroel (IRE)
€2,000 3-y-o, Blue Bresil filly. Dam (b109), bumper winner, closely related to very smart hurdler (stayed 3m) Fire Dragon. Check betting.
Moonwing (IRE)
Wings of Eagles filly who was well held in maiden hurdle at Cork (17f, good) on debut last month. Needs more time.
My Elusive Mate (IRE)
Tailed off in a couple of maiden hurdles. Needs to leave those efforts well behind.
