SARANGPUR has thrived since joining Richard Hughes, winning 3 of his 4 starts. A 4 lb rise looks very fair for his latest success and he is fancied to score again. Multiple course winner Bohemian Breeze is feared most.

Timeform Comments

Nibras Gold (IRE)
Fit from spell over fences and made winning return in this sphere when narrowly taking 8-runner handicap over similar trip at Chester 26 days ago. Just 1 lb higher here and is likely to go well again.
Maasai Mara
Not the most reliable but tumbled down the weights and came close over C&D in May. Ran poorly on heavy ground at Goodwood since but can't be ruled out.
Sarangpur (IRE)
Made winning start for Richard Hughes over C&D in June and improved with each start since, latest when winning 4-runner handicap at Newbury (1½m, good to firm) 14 days ago. Remains fairly treated and must be of interest again.
Brave Hunter
Has upped his game since switching to handicap company, resuming his progress when edged out by a fellow improver at Newmarket in June. Shaped as if still in good form when fifth of 8 in novice at Doncaster (1½m, firm) 28 days ago and is not taken lightly. Visor on first time.
Bohemian Breeze (IRE)
Capitalised on reduced mark when returning to winning ways here in June and made light of 5 lb rise when readily following up in handicap (9/2) at this course (1¼m, good) 37 days ago. Looks sure to go well again.
Tai Hang Pegasus (USA)
Fair maiden who has made the frame in handicap company the last twice, latest when third of 5 at Doncaster (1½m, firm) 19 days ago. Ought to give another good account.
