MEET ME IN MERAKI has returned from a break in good heart, runner-up at Ffos Las on his latest outing when beaten only by one who scored again next time. He could be ready to get back to winning ways, though Luan isn't taken lightly in his hat-trick bid, with Golspie completing the shortlist.

Timeform Comments

Sisterandbrother
Back in headgear, produced a career best when scoring at Beverley (1½m) last month, his third success since joining current yard this year. Rare below-par effort on first visit to Chester 12 days ago, but no surprise to see him bounce back.
Junkyard Dog (IRE)
Fair Flat winner in Ireland who, in first-time visor, turned in best effort for current yard (also had a spell over hurdles) when second of 5 in handicap at Carlisle last month. Task is now to back up his latest run.
Titainium
Returned to winning ways with a narrow success at Wetherby (1¼m) last summer. However, tailed off final 2 starts of the campaign and has fared little better both starts this year.
Norflondonforever (IRE)
Off the mark in a Kempton handicap (1m) in April last year. However, was subsequently absent 13 months and hasn't beaten many home in his 3 outings this season.
Meet Me In Meraki
Has run well both starts since returning from a 3-month break, bumping into a lightly-raced 3-y-o when second of 4 in handicap at Ffos Las (1½m) 23 days ago. Major player from 3 lb below his last winning mark.
Golspie (IRE)
Yet to win this year, though had racked up a sequence of in-frame efforts prior to finishing sixth of 13 at Newcastle (1¼m) 12 days ago. Often starts slowly, but he's capable of being in the mix now only 1 lb above his last winning mark.
It's Only Fun (IRE)
Doubled his tally when scoring over C&D in May. Soon left behind a lesser effort when fourth of 9 back here (1¾m) 10 days ago and he could be in the mix returned to this shorter trip.
Luan (FR)
Making third handicap start, showed improved form when winning at Newcastle (1¼m) in June and followed up in 10-runner contest at Wolverhampton (1½m) 23 days ago. Respected as he makes first run since leaving James Ferguson.
Dingwall
Won twice at Wolverhampton in November but continues to be held back by his slow starts, though still ran one of his better races when third of 7 at Doncaster (1¼m) 6 weeks ago. First run for yard after leaving Iain Jardine.
Blackwaterfoot (USA)
Opened account in handicap at Ffos Las (1¼m) last summer, but wasn't in the same form on his remaining 2 starts of the year. After 8 months off ahead of first run since leaving Paul Attwater, again finished down the field at Kempton (11f) in June.
Distinction (IRE)
3-time winner in 2025 who returned to form when a close third at Pontefract (1m) in May. Hasn't kicked on since, though hasn't had the race run to suit his hold-up style the last twice. Lurks on a dangerous mark, but might not get his preferred set-up here.
Cavalry Call (IRE)
Fairly useful at best, but didn't offer much promise for R. Mike Smith (including over hurdles) and has failed to beat a rival in 2 starts for current yard.
Into Combat
Well-bred type but hasn't managed to find any improvement in handicaps so far, though shaped better than the result when fourth of 12 at Wolverhampton (1¾m) 16 days ago. Needs to build on latest effort as he drops back in trip.
