BENEVENTO may well have needed the outing on first start for this yard when third here recently and now returned to 1m, he's fancied to belatedly add to his pair of juvenile wins having been ambitiously campaigned last year. Joseph O'Brien saddles a couple of interesting runners and his Celtic Motif heads up the opposition, with Rahmi rounding off the shortlist provided he keeps his quirks in check.

Timeform Comments

Benevento (IRE)
Best effort when fourth in the Craven at Newmarket last year. Disappointed on handicap bow/return at Lingfield in February (only run for Kevin Philippart de Foy) and possibly in need of the outing when third of 7 in minor event at this course (9.5f, good to firm) recently. Considered back at 1m.
Rahmi (IRE)
Produced a smart effort when winning premier handicap at Leopardstown in September last year. Yet to fire this season, though, essentially blowing his chance at the start in a race where it paid to be handy in a Fairyhouse handicap last month. Returns to 1m for the first time since 2024.
Celtic Motif (IRE)
Finally off the mark back with former yard when readily landing the odds in 5-runner maiden at Killarney (1m, good) last month. Tongue tie worn that day retained and could well kick on now up and running. Engaged 6.00 Leopardstown Thursday.
Felix Guido (IRE)
Unbeaten in 3 starts for M. Jodlowski in Poland but ran poorly despite having been strong in the betting on handicap/yard debut at Naas on return in May. First-time tongue tie applied and still early days with this stable.
God Of Power (IRE)
Confirmed his debut promise at the second attempt when winning a 7f Limerick maiden on return and took form up another level when second of 5 to Tim Toe in minor event at Listowel in May. No excuses when fourth of 5 in similar event at Leopardstown last time.
Anushka (IRE)
Off the mark at Dundalk (7f) on third start last year and made a solid start to life in handicaps earlier in the season. Easy enough to excuse her latest effort at the Curragh (short of room soon after start) but more needed if she's to feature here.
Keep It Together (IRE)
Showed no ability in bumpers/over hurdles and went with no encouragement on recent Flat debut. Significantly down in trip.
