Timeform View

WOOHOO has been running consistently well with second-place finishes on her last 4 outings, going close when first home in her group at Goodwood, and she looks ready to resume winning ways this time around. Montezuma helps to give Jim Goldie a strong hand in the race, while Tiva could also be in the mix.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Woohoo traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts: Montezuma has traded at 50% or less of Betfair SP 3 times on its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Jer Batt (IRE)
Losing run is mounting up, but after 3 months off he shaped promisingly when third of 5 in handicap over this C&D 7 days ago (½ length behind Montezuma in second). Lurks on a dangerous mark given another try in cheekpieces.
Tiva (IRE)
3-time winner in 2025, including back-to-back 5f handicaps in August. Yet to score this season, but with visor quickly refitted she left behind a lesser effort when third at Thirsk 6 days ago. Could be in the mix racing off her last winning mark.
Montezuma
Confirmed promise of his return when getting off the mark in big-field handicap over C&D in April. Progress seemed to have stalled subsequently, but got back on the up when only narrowly denied in 5-runner contest here 7 days ago. Likely contender.
Big Fun (IRE)
Landed the odds in 4-runner C&D maiden last summer. Made the frame on handicap/seasonal debut at Thirsk in April, before seventh of 12 at the same course the following month. Eased 2 lb in the weights but still looks to have something to find.
Woohoo (IRE)
Gained a second C&D victory in April and has been knocking on the door of late, proving better than ever in defeat when second of 20 at Goodwood (6f) 10 days ago. Strong claims back down in trip/grade.
Ecclefechan
Remains a maiden and hasn't been in much form since making the frame at Newmarket (6f) in May, finding things tough back up into class 4 company when fifth of 7 at Newmarket (5f) 3 weeks ago.
