Timeform View

ANODANDAWINK impressed when winning a big-field Wexford handicap on just his second chase start last month and he gets the verdict over Zolpharine, who was at the top of his game when last seen in May. Mistyburn also caught the eye at Galway last week and merits respect in a hot race.

Timeform Comments

Kings Jet (IRE)
Surprise winner on Rules debut in maiden hunter at Down Royal in May but no form under Rules since, dropping away tamely when eleventh of 18 in handicap chase (9/1) at Galway (23f, good to soft) 6 days ago. Cheekpieces on 1st time.
Anodandawink (IRE)
Offered something to work on when second of 6 in novice chase at Downpatrick (3m, good to firm, 5/1) on debut over fences and produced a good round of jumping to go one place better in a 15-runner handicap chase at Wexford (25f, good to firm, 3/1) 17 days ago. Up 10 lb but open to improvement.
Mistyburn (IRE)
Landed 16-runner handicap hurdle at Kilbeggan in April, albeit looking a fortunate winner (left in front last). Produced his best effort to date over fences when coming from a long way back to finish third of 18 in handicap chase at Galway (23f, good to soft) 6 days ago.
Zolpharine (IRE)
Confirmed the promise of his previous run when readily landing a first win over fences at Limerick last month and had little fuss following up in 16-runner handicap hurdle at Tramore (2¾m, good) 71 days ago. Had plenty in hand then and is respected despite jumping remaining a slight concern.
The Little Yank (IRE)
Veteran who ended a losing run at Clonmel in January. Lost way thereafter (pulled up next 4 starts) but he resumed from a 3-month break with a good third of 15 in handicap hurdle at this course (25f, good) 29 days ago, his best work coming at the finish. Now reverts to chasing.
