Preference is for TAMZAN, who arrives in good heart despite having not been seen to best effect at Beverley on her latest outing. Back down in trip, she gets the vote ahead of last-time-out winner Cancelled, while Venetian Sky is one to note as she goes handicapping for her leading yard.

Ex-Irish mare who has returned to form fitted with cheekpieces the last twice, readily winning 5-runner handicap over this C&D 11 days ago by ¾ length from Spiritoftheblues. Respected on the back of her first success for current connections.
Venetian Sky (FR)
Took a step forward when making the frame in a Doncaster novice (7f) in June, before meeting trouble when fifth of 7 in maiden at Chester last month. Has a bit to find making handicap debut, but no surprise to see her resume progress back up in trip.
Spiritoftheblues
Successful at Ayr on debut and got back on the up sent handicapping when second at Hamilton in June. Ran to a similar level when ¾-length second of 5 to Cancelled over this C&D 11 days ago, though did benefit from having run of the race.
Kaori
Got back on track making her second handicap start when ¾-length third of 6 at Yarmouth (1m) in June. Wasn't in the same form when fifth of 8 at Lingfield (7f, firm) 18 days ago, though wasn't helped by being denied a clear run. Cheekpieces reached for.
Tamzan
With the form of her fourth in handicap at Newmarket in May proving strong, backed that up when winning a Beverley maiden (8.5f) in June. Ran well despite a steady pace when third of 4 in handicap at Beverley (1¼m) last time, so she makes plenty of appeal here.
