Timeform View

There should be more to come from COSMOS D'AINAY, who can make it 2-2 for the season. Malbay Madness is narrowly preferred to Chanceawetmorning in the battle for silver.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Cosmos D'ainay traded at a high of 5.50 and Betfair SP of 8.01 when winning last time, a race in which it raced prominently and travelled strongly early on.

Timeform Comments

Chanceawetmorning (IRE)
Made it 3 wins from 4 since joining Gordon Elliott when making the most of a good opportunity at Roscommon in early-June. Probably found a busy spell catching up with him behind Malbay Madness here since. Should make a better fist of things following an 8-week break.
Cosmos D'ainay (FR)
Lightly-raced point/bumper winner. Travelled strongly when opening his hurdles account at third time of asking at Cork on return (fourth won since). Open to further improvement and the one to beat under Jack Kennedy.
Malbay Madness (IRE)
Smooth-travelling type. Recorded his first success away from Kilbeggan when completing a double over C&D in mid-June. Beaten 9½ lengths in relatively valuable Bellewstown handicap in hat-trick bid. Has a more realistic chance at the weights here.
Trasna Na Pairce (IRE)
Back over hurdles for first time since completing a double at Clonmel last June. First-time blinkers will need to spark a revival, though, having again finished well held over fences at Wexford last time.
Cap Bernat (IRE)
Veteran finished closer than on hurdling debut when 8¾ lengths fifth over C&D last June. Stiff task at the weights on return from 14 months off, though.
Shinnhill (IRE)
Only made it to the track twice since winning C&D maiden in 2024, pulling up on first start since rejoining current yard at Kilbeggan in May.
Tribal Moon (IRE)
Fairly useful Flat winner. Didn't offer much in 4 hurdle runs before a forgivable effort on the level at Galway last week. Cheekpieces go on first time in this sphere (on for both Flat wins), though will have a better chance back in low-grade handicaps.
