Timeform View

MINELLA BUOY and No Bother Aoife shaped well starting out in this sphere at Killarney last month and look the pair to focus on, with John Nallen's charge taken to confirm that form and open his account. Mount Eden should have more to offer in a truly-run race, while Nod of Approval is certainly bred for the job for his top connections.

Timeform Comments

Camp Verde (IRE)
Arizona half-brother to Ghost Town (17f hurdle winner in Scandinavia, by Go Go Gadget). Yard fairly quiet and he doesn't appeal as a likely winner first time out.
Connor Of Mali (IRE)
Hasn't shown anything in Flat maiden and a couple of 3-y-o maiden hurdles.
Divelment (IRE)
Fair maiden on the Flat (stays 10.5f) who offered a bit to work on starting out over hurdles in similar event at Killarney behind a couple of these. Open to improvement but probably one for low-grade handicaps.
Minella Buoy
Didn't achieve much on the Flat but his yard tends to have its juvenile hurdlers ready to go first time up and he ran a blinder when just failing in a blanket finish fitted with a hood at Killarney last month. Should build on that and leading claims.
Motherland (IRE)
Sioux Nation brother to Polish 7f winner Haeret In Pectore, out of a French 1¼m winner, half-sister to useful hurdler/smart chaser (stayed 21f) Fast Buck. Not an obvious type on paper but can't be discounted given the yard he hails from.
Mount Eden (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden on the Flat for Donnacha O'Brien and shaped encouragingly on hurdling debut in slowly-run race at Hexham 2 months ago. Should have more to offer.
Nicky Larson (FR)
Fair maiden on the Flat and made a promising start in this sphere in similar event at Limerick last month, splitting Sofi's Gift and Words Unspoken, looking in need of further already.
Nod Of Approval (IRE)
Fair maiden on the Flat who has had plenty of chances, but jumping might be his game being a half-brother to useful hurdler Puturhandstogether and fairly useful hurdler/useful chaser Showurappreciation.
Words Unspoken (IRE)
Some encouragement on hurdles debut at Limerick behind Nicky Larson but faded well out of it behind a couple of these at Killarney next time and there are doubts over his stamina for this game. Hood goes on.
Divine Believer (IRE)
Modest maiden on the Flat (bred to stay further than 1m but hasn't done so yet). Not an obvious one for hurdling but is in the right hands at least.
No Bother Aoife (IRE)
Modest maiden on the Flat but made a promising start in this sphere when fourth behind Minella Buoy at Killarney 3 weeks ago, taking a strong hold but fading only late after a mistake at the last. Can build on that.
Sands Castle (IRE)
Fair maiden on the Flat, with her standout effort coming at this course (very strong in the betting when well beaten at Gowran last time). Jury must be out on her now attentions switch to jumping with hood fitted.
Sofi's Gift (IRE)
No impact in 4 runs on the Flat but showed a lot more when second in the first juvenile hurdle of the season in Ireland at Limerick a month ago. There might not be a great deal of improvement in her.
