Timeform View

FALLACIOUS PROMISE is fancied to quickly resume winning ways on the back of an unlucky-in-running second over C&D last time. Ballybunion looks to have more to offer and is feared most on his first go on polytrack, ahead of Roi de Coeur and Shadowmere.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Something Coming traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP twice and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 4 of its last 5 starts: Shadowmere traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 3 of its last 4 starts.

Timeform Comments

Roi De Coeur (IRE)
Improved since switching to handicaps, scoring over C&D in July before second of 4 at Yarmouth (1m, good to firm) 18 days ago. Can go well again.
Mojito
Made a winning start in handicaps at Doncaster (7f) in April but well below par at Salisbury and Lingfield since, finishing tamely. Has a bit to prove.
Something Coming
Fair maiden. Resumed from 6 months off with a good second of 12 in handicap here (7f) in June. Not out of things after another break.
Santiago Boy
Lightly-raced maiden. Only eighth of 12 in all-weather novice at Lingfield (1m) 35 days ago. Blinkers go on for handicap debut.
Shadowmere (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden. Advanced his form on handicap debut with second of 10 at Windsor (1m, good to firm) on return in May. May do better again after a break.
Battosai (IRE)
Consistent without winning for Brian Meehan. Well backed but last of 5 in handicap at Leicester (1m, good to firm) for new yard 12 days ago. Makes all-weather debut.
Seu Jo (IRE)
Landed a 1m Chantilly claimer in March but well held all 4 starts for new yard.
Ballybunion (IRE)
Progressive sort who returned from a breathing operation with a very good sixth of 10 in handicap at Wolverhampton (7f) 10 days ago, nearest finish having been forced wide home turn. Of real interest now switched to polytrack.
Coxy's Star
Has improved with each of her 3 runs, fourth of 12 in novice at Southwell (7f) 36 days ago. Makes handicap debut with more to offer over this longer trip.
Berkshire Boom (IRE)
Won 7f Chester maiden last July but has yet to build on that success in handicap company this season, fifth of 6 in handicap at Sandown (7f, good) 17 days ago. Makes all-weather debut.
Alkumatic Jo Jo (IRE)
Still to get her head in front and failed to get home when seventh of 14 in handicap at Southwell (11f) 14 days ago. Back down in trip.
Fallacious Promise
Much improved of late, scoring at Lingfield (1m) in July before a very good ¾-length second of 13 to Roi de Coeur over C&D 33 days ago when left with plenty to do after being hampered. Big shout despite 4 lb rise.
Athena's War (IRE)
Fair form over 7f/1m last autumn. Hooded when seventh of 8 in all-weather maiden at Lingfield (1m) in March on final run for Andrew Balding. Makes handicap debut for new stable with lots more required.
Mehmas Engine (IRE)
Hasn't built on her promising debut Southwell third for James Tate in February. Only ninth of 12 on first start for this trainer in 7f handicap here in June.
