Timeform View

Cases can be made for several and at the likely prices it may well be worth siding with MOTAWAARED, who has left the impression he's building up to something on plenty of starts for this yard and may have needed his latest fifth over C&D following a breathing operation. Royal Blaze remains of major interest arriving on a C&D hat-trick, so he heads up the dangers, with Sweet Kiss and West Tyrone both considered, too.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Onyeisi traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP 3 times on 4 of its last 5 starts: West Tyrone traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

West Tyrone
A fair 1m winner in 2025 for Kevin Ryan. Slow start for new connections but turned in his best effort of the season having slipped to a career-low mark when third of 10 at Carlisle (11f, soft) a couple of months ago. Task is to now back that up.
Royal Blaze
Emphatically found his form last month and made it 3 wins from 3 starts over C&D for stable going really well in 9-runner event a fortnight ago. Nudged up another 4 lb but should remain very competitive around here.
Spirit Catcher (IRE)
Landed a gamble over 9f at Musselburgh in April and ran at least as well when runner-up next 2 starts (over 12.5f on second occasion). Excuses for his seventh of 8 at Chester last month and no surprise should he get back on track returned to class 6 company.
Sweet Kiss
Enjoyed a productive spell when scoring 3 times over this trip last year. Positive signs of late, faring best of those held up when second of 13 at Newcastle (1¼m) just over a fortnight ago. Back up 1 lb but one to consider returned to turf.
Tee Aitch Aye (IRE)
Sole win came over 9f at Hamilton last September and turned in easily his best effort of the season having eased further in the weights when third of 12 to Royal Blaze over C&D 5 weeks ago. Needs to prove that wasn't a flash in the pan with headgear now fitted.
Motawaared
Isn't an easy ride but has left the impression he's building up to something on most starts for this yard, though only fifth of 10 following a breathing operation over C&D 3 weeks ago. Handicapper drops him another 2 lb and could be worth siding with.
Glasses Up (USA)
Finally cashed in on a lowly mark in 6-runner event at this venue over 13f last month. 9-time C&D winner but seemed unsuited by the drop back in trip over C&D last time and that tempers enthusiasm somewhat.
Ceinture D'orion
Had looked a potential improver on handicap debut but only matched previous form when fourth of 6 at Nottingham (1¼m, good) just under 6 weeks ago. Handicapper drops her 2 lb and it remains very early days.
Cosmic Man (IRE)
Has made an underwhelming start in handicaps this season and is becoming increasingly temperamental, beaten well before the longer trip became a factor at Carlisle (9f, soft) a couple of months ago.
Farabove The Limit (IRE)
Regressed for Gordon Elliott (sold for £1,000) but back on track for new stable when third at Newcastle (8f) in November. Ran to a similar level when fourth of 9 at Newcastle (1¼m) when last seen 6 months ago and will probably need this on return.
Rugby Union (USA)
Maiden who quickly put a lesser effort behind him when fifth of 7 in handicap at Windsor (1¼m, firm) albeit still wasn't seen to best effect in a modestly-run race. Dropped another 2 lb for that and he'd be folly to rule out.
Onyeisi
Runner-up on all 3 all-weather starts in January for Charlie Johnston. However, form has been patchy for present stable, tailed off the last twice. Back down in trip but best watched for now.
