Timeform View

KILLEEMORE LAD has made a promising start over fences and could prove hard to catch around here if he's again ridden prominently. Tell Us This won a big-field Galway handicap chase a fortnight ago but his jumping remains a concern, while the quirky Luker's Tipple wouldn't be the safest conveyance despite going for a hat-trick on his chasing debut.

Timeform Comments

Tell Us This (IRE)
Back to winning ways in 2¼m Galway handicap chase last month, always prominent and coming out on top despite plenty of mistakes. Won over hurdles here in April but his jumping remains a concern and he might be vulnerable under a penalty in this company.
Cappa Hill (IRE)
Fairly useful form when winning his first 2 starts in handicap hurdles last season. Hasn't kicked on since, shaping as if in need of the experience on his chasing debut at Killarney 4 weeks ago.
Killeemore Lad (IRE)
Flat/hurdles winner set to run well back from 25 months off when falling at the last on chasing debut at Wexford last month and proved none the worse when second at Roscommon last week, ridden more prominently. Jumping needs to improve but could prove hard to catch from the front around here.
Luker's Tipple (IRE)
Quirky sort who has belatedly got his head in front over hurdles the last twice, coming clear under a no-nonsense ride at Downpatrick and following up at Sligo last week despite idling briefly on the run-in. Remains one to have reservations about on chase debut.
Missus Beeton (IRE)
Fairly useful hurdler, successful twice in mares handicaps last season. Not so good again in Galway handicap a fortnight ago and comes to chasing relatively late. New headgear combination.
Playtime
Fairly useful handicapper on Flat who has showed similar form over hurdles, landing a Leopardstown maiden (2m) in March. Had been holding form well prior to his latest run at Galway but has a bit to find now chasing.
