JUKE HILL went with promise on his chase debut at Wexford and can score with the longer trip likely to suit. Burru has to bounce back from a disappointing effort over hurdles but showed aptitude for chasing last summer and his free-going style will suit Tramore, whilst 4-y-o Kasper Hauser is an interesting chase newcomer given his weight allowance.

Timeform Comments

Burru (IRE)
Justified support having rejoined this yard in a Killarney handicap hurdle in May. Unable to lead and well beaten at Ballinrobe later that month, but was placed twice from 3 starts over fences last summer and his positive run style should suit Tramore.
Coded Welder (IRE)
Has been strong in the betting on all 3 hurdle starts so far for his current yard, finishing runner-up at Cork on stable debut prior to another in-frame effort at Clonmel. Flopped at Galway last time but finished runner-up in a point and more positive market vibes would be notable on chase bow.
Frankie's Freebie (IRE)
Winning pointer who has finished runner-up on 4 of his 8 hurdle starts but was below form when tenth of 20 in a novice at Galway (2¾m, good to soft) 15 days ago. Might be vulnerable to less-exposed rivals now chasing.
Happy Me (IRE)
Winless from 16 starts over hurdles, though suffered interference early in the straight when fifth of 9 in novice at Killarney (2½m, good to soft) 28 days ago. Will need to improve on chase debut.
Juke Hill (IRE)
Point runner-up who shaped as if he'd be a better chaser than hurdler when fourth of 14 in novice at Wexford (19f, good to soft) on debut over fences 44 days ago. Open to improvement back up in trip.
Le Kap (FR)
Patchy form over hurdles and was only tenth of 15 in a handicap at Bellewstown (25f, good) when last seen 40 days ago. Has tongue strap on for 1st time and yard's runners often fare better for a switch to chasing.
Mephisto (IRE)
Completed a hat-trick over hurdles last August but latest 2 efforts in that sphere were disappointing and he's opposable having first chase outing since autumn 2024.
Rattledelatch (IRE)
No better than poor form in a bumper/4 outings over hurdles. Easy to oppose on chase bow.
Kasper Hauser
Had plenty of chances prior to getting off the mark over hurdles at the twelfth attempt in a 15-runner novice at Kilbeggan (19f, good) 20 days ago, having bit in hand under a front-running ride. Not the most fluent hurdler but interesting sent chasing with 4-y-o allowance.
