Timeform View

CHURCHWARDEN opened his account on the Flat here the previous month and is potentially well treated on the pick of last season's form now returning to hurdling, so he gets the nod to follow up. Rightfolksplease has been thriving since returning to action for a new yard and can give another good account back over the smaller obstacles, while the in-form Dairy Force is also well respected now back in a less competitive affair.

Timeform Comments

Churchwarden (IRE)
Comfortably opened his account on the Flat in first-time blinkers at this course last month and is potentially well treated on the pick of last season's form for previous yard now returned to hurdling.
Palace Boy (GER)
One-time fairly useful hurdler who has shown very little in 2 starts for current connections. Passed over.
Dairy Force (IRE)
Thirteen runs since last win in 2024 but arrives in good form, finishing a very respectable fifth of 20 in a competitive handicap (10/1) at Galway (17f, good to soft) 17 days ago, faring best of those held up. This is less demanding and seems sure to be on the premises again.
Claude (IRE)
Successful for Joseph Patrick O'Brien at Wexford on hurdling debut. Has largely struggled for current connections but fared better under a positive ride when 12 lengths third of 15 in handicap at Killarney in July. Allowed an easy lead again but couldn't hang on for a place at Galway since.
Rightfolksplease (IRE)
Confirmed promise of his comeback (over hurdles) with victory in 6-runner handicap chase at Wexford (2m, good to soft) 5 days ago, travelling smoothly and merely driven out to make sure. Should go well again back over the smaller obstacles from only 4 lb higher in the weights.
Kome Dans Un Reve (FR)
Failed to improve sent handicapping when tenth of 14 (18/1) at Wexford (17f, good to soft) in May. Needs a major step forward.
