Timeform View

A low turnout for a very valuable novice, with SIENA STORM selected to build on her encouraging debut fourth at Goodwood a fortnight ago with this step up in trip sure to be in her favour. Heading up the dangers is Clarity, who finished a place behind the selection last time and should find that outing aiding her development further. Indian Lights looks best of the remainder.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

In a race that lacks confirmed pace-forcers, Siena Storm could get the run of things.

Timeform Comments

Caelan's Rose
Foaled April 13. Ulysses filly. Sister to 9.5f-1½m winner Lia Rose and half-sister to several winners, including useful 1m-11f winner Jewel In My Crown and 11f winner Ruby Wedding. Dam winner up to 1¼m (2-y-o 7f winner). Yard second string on jockey bookings.
Clarity (IRE)
115,000 gns breeze-up filly by Blue Point who didn't appear to have learnt much from first time up when fifth of 13 in maiden at Goodwood (7f, good to firm) a fortnight ago. That should've at least aided her development though, so she remains open to improvement.
Indian Lights (IRE)
Sioux Nation filly who showed promise when fourth of 10 in maiden at Newmarket (7f, good to firm) on debut last month, keeping on without being knocked about. Should improve on that initial effort.
Orchard Hatches
Time Test filly who was given a considerate introduction over a trip that's likely to be well shy of her optimum when eighth of 13 in maiden at Goodwood (7f, good to firm) on debut a fortnight ago, late headway. Seems sure to do better but probably later down the line.
Siena Storm (GER)
180,000 gns yearling, €600,000 2-y-o. Night Of Thunder filly who shaped encouragingly amidst greenness when fourth of 13 in maiden at Goodwood (7f, good to firm) on debut a fortnight ago. Sure to have derived plenty from that first outing and is open to improvement upped to 1m.
