Timeform View

Newcomers QUICKEN AWAY and Sockdolager were both put in the Group 2 Royal Lodge at Newmarket earlier in the week, suggesting they are well regarded by leading stables. The former has an eyecatching pedigree and is preferred before any betting clues are known. Dontlookbackinanga made a promising start to his career at Sandown last month and may prove best of the remainder.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

King High could be expected to race prominently. Of those in the front half of the betting forecast, Dontlookbackinanga might be well positioned in a slowly run affair: Of the better-fancied horses, Sockdolager is most likely to be ridden furthest from the pace.

Timeform Comments

Camelot Castle (IRE)
Foaled April 12. Camelot colt. Half-brother to several winners, including smart 1½m-1¾m winner Shamida and useful 1m winner Shemda. Dam 1½m winner. Check the betting with this well-bred newcomer.
Dontlookbackinanga (IRE)
22/1, showed plenty of ability when fourth of 10 in novice at Sandown (7f, good) on debut 42 days ago. Open to improvement.
King High
15/2, showed promise against some useful opposition when fourth of 6 in novice at Sandown (7f, good, 15/2) on debut 16 days ago, not knocked about. Should progress.
Mulvaney's Return (FR)
Foaled April 9. Victor Ludorum colt. Half-brother to several winners, including 11.4f/1½m winner Fox Vardy and 1¼m-1½m winner Kurakka, both useful. The betting should help guide to expectations with this newcomer.
Quicken Away (USA)

Rupert The Brave (IRE)
