Timeform View

Speedy FAST TRACK has shown more than enough to suggest she can win at listed level and is narrowly preferred to Efsixteen, who could reap the rewards if the pace is overly strong. Fellow Group 1 entrant Acting Lady also needs considering, along with improving Acclamation Star.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Of those forecasted with a better chance, Fast Track could be most vulnerable in a race in which competition for the lead looks to be fierce: There is a chance of a pace burnout early, and Angels Lane is one who may benefit from being produced later.

Timeform Comments

Acclamation Star
Overcame inexperience when making a successful debut at Bath in May. Went the right way without landing a blow in the Albany/Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes before ½-length second in a relatively valuable Newmarket (6f) nursery latest. Solid chance at the weights and strongly-run 5f may suit.
Acting Lady (IRE)
Dark Angel filly out of smart sprinter. Looked the likeliest winner before finishing close third (behind Sexy Chick) on debut at Newmarket (6f). Put her experience to use when off the mark over the same C&D last time. More to come (entered in Group 1), especially if she settles on first run over 5f.
Angels Lane
Defied greenness when running out a 33/1 winner of a Chepstow maiden (soft) on debut. Had clearly learned plenty when losing out on the nod in the Super Sprint over C&D (good to firm) subsequently. Several in behind have improved since and every chance she takes a step forward, too.
Blue Flight
Got the better of an odds-favourite on debut at Yarmouth and took a step forward when 2¼ lengths fourth (runner-up won since) in Ascot novice. 5f shouldn't be an issue, though others may have greater scope for improvement.
Cosmic Mystery
Expensive breeze-up buy. Built on a promising debut when 1-length second of 5 at Nottingham 6 weeks ago, possibly paying the price for doing too much in the lead (hung left final 1f). Needs more again up in listed company.
Dubai Charm (IRE)
Well beaten in the Albany before getting off the mark on nursery debut at Yarmouth (5f). Still in good form when third in a stronger event over same C&D latest. Plenty more on her plate in this company, though.
Efsixteen
350,000 breeze-up purchase. Knew her job well/knuckled down to make a winning start in a valuable Newmarket novice in early-May (third subsequent listed winner). Surely better to come from this Group 1 entrant, for all she has a 3-month absence to overcome (returns in first-time tongue strap).
Elevating
Closely related to a smart 5f performer. Confirmed she's most definitely a sprinter when making it third time lucky at Sandown (5f) 8 days ago. Should appreciate the likely strong pace here, and there's more improvement to come.
Fast Track (IRE)
Speedy type who chased home subsequent Group winners first 2 starts. Completed a simple task at Beverley (1/10) on the back of a creditable Queen Mary run and only gave second best to a good prospect at Glorious Goodwood last time. Leading form claims and is fancied to make a bold bid.
Havana Lightning
110,000 gns Havana Grey filly. Showed why she'd been well-backed on debut when a decisive winner of a Yarmouth novice (good) second time up. Ran some way below that level in Group 2 Queen Mary (good to firm). Returns from 8 weeks off in first-time tongue strap and may again find this too hot.
Lover Girl (IRE)
Started 2-2 at Wolverhampton/Salisbury in the spring and emerged with credit having raced up with a furious pace when third in a York listed event subsequently. Returns 8 weeks on from a weak-finishing effort in the Queen Mary. Not ruled out if back on song for last year's winning connections.
Sexy Chick
160,000 gns Havana Grey filly who finished narrowly ahead of Acting Lady when going close on debut. Didn't see out 7f next time before decisively confirming herself a sprinter with a 2-length success in a 6f Newmarket novice. Could be in the mix if proving as effective over the minimum trip.
Wateera (IRE)
Made a winning debut at Wetherby prior to running at least as well (with the run of the race) when close third at Newbury in late-June. No match for an unbeaten one on return from 7 weeks off at Windsor on Monday, however, and probably faces a stiff task tackling 5f/listed company.
