THE SWEET ESCAPE is thriving at present and looks the one to be with having been denied only narrowly in his hat-trick bid in a competitive handicap at Galway just under a fortnight ago. Rising Force is an obvious threat having belatedly shown he's up to defying this sort of mark with a good second over C&D recenty. Sir Edward Lear is pick of the remainder.

Showed a good attitude when doubling tally here (1¼m) last summer. Failed to build on reappearance when only fourth of 5 at Ripon (1½m, good) in late May. Drops significantly in trip following a break.
Calyxoh (IRE)
Produced his best effort for new yard from a reduced mark when third of 9 in 7.6f Chester handicap in July. However, below form both outings since, including in a first-time visor latest.

Proved better than ever when notching a third win of the year in 7.4f Beverley handicap in July. Denied only narrowly in hat-trick bid at Galway (7f) subsequently and seems sure to go well again.
Special Ghaiyyath (IRE)
Front runner who won back-to-back handicaps for James Tate last season. However, has shown little in a handful of starts for current yard.
Currumbin (IRE)
Barely beaten a rival in 3 starts this year and has plenty to prove.
