Timeform View

This is a slightly belated return to action for GARDEN PARTY but she showed more than enough last autumn to think a race like this is within her grasp. Dermot Weld's Zadawa has made a promising start to her career and is feared most unless the betting speaks in the favour of the selection's debuting stablemate Fairylike.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Garden Party traded at a low of 1.30 and Betfair SP of 2.02 when losing last time, a race in which it led.

Timeform Comments

Chosen One (IRE)
Fair form. Good second of 7 in maiden at Down Royal (10.6f, good, 3/1) 28 days ago. Cheekpieces on first time. A bit more will be needed.
Elusive In Mayo (IRE)
25/1, no short-term encouragement on Galway debut (1½m, soft) 14 days ago.
Emily Estherfaye (IRE)
Hinted at ability on Galway debut 14 days later but a big step forward will be needed to get involved.
Fairylike (USA)
Lord Kanaloa filly. Dam, winner up to 1¾m (2-y-o 1m winner), sister to Irish Derby and English St Leger winner Capri and very smart winner up to 2m Tower of London. Garden Party has to be considered the Ballydoyle first string but still needs checking out in betting.
Garden Party (IRE)
Wootton Bassett filly who was runner-up to useful stablemates in 7f maidens last autumn. Up in trip for slightly belated reappearance. Sets the standard for the rest to aim at.
Quinchy Lady (IRE)
Down the field at Gowran and Galway this summer. Outsider.
Salamina (IRE)
Sottsass filly. Half-sister to 1¼m winner War Supremo. Showed only greenness when always behind in a Gowran maiden (9.5f) on Wednesday.
Saxony Charms (IRE)
Saxon Warrior filly who has shown a fairly useful level of ability in 2 maidens at the Curragh this summer. Won't need to raise her game too much.
Serendipia (IRE)
Fair maiden. Best effort when third of 13 in maiden (20/1) at Gowran (1m, good to firm) 20 days ago. The step back up in trip will suit but she'll need to advance her form to take this.
The Blonde Lady (IRE)
Kew Gardens filly. Dam unraced. A watching brief is advised unless the betting suggests otherwise.
Trumph (IRE)
Beaten a long way in maidens 9 months apart.
Zadawa (FR)
Promising individual. Stepped up on debut when third of 11 in maiden at the Curragh (1¼m, good to firm, 18/1) 49 days ago. Hood on first time. Should have more to offer.
