Timeform View

Although KINSWOMAN has failed to fire at listed/Group level recently she's worth chancing back in handicap company having returned to the same mark as when narrowly denied by a progressive sort on her Yarmouth reappearance. Rhythm N Hooves is another who has been cut some slack by the handicapper and is second choice ahead of the consistent Glamorous Breeze.

Timeform Comments

Regal Envoy (IRE)
In top form at the start of the season, winning 5f handicaps at Bath (good to firm) and Windsor (good to soft), but has found life harder off marks in the 90s since.
Glamorous Breeze
Strong-travelling mare who won 3 times in 2025. Has returned in rude health, going close again in big-field handicap at Glorious Goodwood (5f, good to firm) 18 days ago. Should give another good account.
Wheels Of Fire (IRE)
Revitalised back from a short break with a career-best performance to beat reopposing Hypnotised by 2¾ lengths at Sandown (5f, good) 17 days ago. A 6 lb rise promises to make life a bit harder this time.
Ziggy's Triton (IRE)
Has more than earned his keep for the David O'Meare stable, notching a sixth career when seeing off 11 rivals at York (5f, good to firm) last month. Shaped as if still in good form (raced on unfavoured side) when tenth of 23 at Glorious Goodwood since.
Kinswoman
Ended her 3-y-o campaign on the up, winning 3 of her last 4 outings. Gave a good account in handicaps on first 2 starts back this season. Unable to make an impact at listed/Group 3 level since but has been given a chance by the handicapper back at a more realistic level. Could bounce back with bang.
Seven Questions (IRE)
Took advantage of reduced mark when getting up late at Goodwood (5f, good) in May but has gone off the boil since, including well held back at Goodwood last month. Needs refitted cheekpieces to help spark a revival.
Hucklesbrook
Useful three-time winner over this trip, including in a strong handicap at York last June. Encouraging reappearance fourth over C&D in April but 2 lesser runs have followed (latterly back from breathing operation).
Major Neigh Sayer (IRE)
Impressive winner of a Newmarket novice (7f) last autumn. Left comeback run well behind dropped markedly in trip/tongue strap fitted when second at Sandown (5f) in May. Not seen to best effect when fourth at Musselburgh with cheekpieces added (retained) in June. Remains unexposed back from break.
River Spey
Doubled his tally in a Windsor handicap (6f, good to firm) in June. Better than the result tackling 5f for the first time when seventh of 18 at Glorious Goodwood 16 days ago, faring best of those in the unfavoured group. Can start slowly.
Rhythm N Hooves
Ran with plenty of credit to finish a close third at Windsor in June. Raced on the unfavoured part of the track when respectable eighth of 13 in handicap at Ascot (5f, good to firm, 9/1) 21 days ago. First-time visor worn on that occasion is retained. Enters calculations from a career-low mark.
Hypnotised
Looked promising when winning maiden over 5f at Southwell last year. Gelded after disappointing handicap debut/return at Sandown in April and back on the up when chasing home reopposing Wheels of Fire there (5f, good) 3 months later. Lightly-raced profile provides hope he can build on that.
The Thames Boatman
Gained breakthrough on turf at Goodwood (5f) in May. Has remained in form since but this is a higher grade than he usually contests.
Kanishka (IRE)
In good form without winning this season for Brian Ellison but seemed unsuited by the drop to 6f at Goodwood on first start for Ian Williams so hardly an obvious one now going over even shorter.
