BIGGLES has come to hurdling late in the day but has shown enough in a pair of Uttoxeter novices to suggest he can win a race of this nature. Try Them is an obvious threat having returned to the pick of his juvenile form on first start for his new yard when runner-up over C&D last month, while Crackalackin also enters the reckoning back from a break.

Smart at best on Flat (raced mainly at 7f) and showed an aptitude for hurdling belatedly switching codes on first outing for over 2 years/since leaving Eve Johnson Houghton when second in 5-runner novice at Uttoxeter in June. Similar form when fifth of 13 there since and has a leading chance.
Hawthorn Road (IRE)
Too free completed start in bumpers and in a C&D maiden hurdle.
St Just In Time
Fair maiden on the level and promise whilst looking a work in progress in juvenile/maiden hurdles for Sir Mark Todd during first half of 2024. Went very close on handicap debut for this yard on sole start in 2025 but well held on 2 comeback runs on the Flat.
C'est Pour Moi (FR)
Pour Moi gelding who looked a hard ride second time up in bumpers when sixth of 9 at Worcester in June. Switches to hurdles now and it's best to assume he's ungenuine until proving otherwise.
Crackalackin (IRE)
Fair handicapper on Flat (stays 1½m) who showed similar form over hurdles in the spring, including when second to a subsequent winner in 2m maiden at Huntingdon on final start in May. Returns after a break and must enter calculations.
Tracker Issue (IRE)
Regressive on the Flat (modest nowadays) but showed aptitude tried over hurdles minus his usual headgear when sixth (Biggles 5th) of 13 in 2m novice at Uttoxeter 22 days ago. Remains to be seen if he's able to build on that.
Try Them (IRE)
Returned to the pick of his juvenile form on first run since leaving Emmet Mullins when second in 9-runner maiden over C&D (good) 44 days ago, held only close home. Firmly in the picture with a repeat.
